Episode 11
Winning the Battle with Our Words
Takeaways:
- In the face of temptation, Jesus exemplified reliance on the Word of God as the ultimate source of strength and guidance.
- The devil's tactics remain unchanged; he seeks to exploit our moments of weakness and vulnerability to instigate doubt.
- True faith is characterized by trust in God's provision and timing, rather than demanding signs or shortcuts to fulfill our desires.
- Obedience to God supersedes the allure of immediate gratification or worldly success, as demonstrated by Jesus' refusal to compromise his mission.

Speaker A:And now, here's Pastor Robert Thibodeau.
Speaker B:Hello, everyone, everywhere.
Speaker B:Pastor Bob Thibodeau here.
Speaker B:Welcome to Freedom Through Faith.
Speaker B:Glory to God.
Speaker B:We're so blessed that you're joining us today as we gather around the Word of God to study, learn to be inspired, to build faith.
Speaker B:Because there's a battle coming.
Speaker B:And this battle, it is the biggest battle that human history has ever going to witness.
Speaker B:But we don't have to fight it in our own strength either, do we?
Speaker C:Amen.
Speaker B:Because we have someone who fights it and has already fought it and defeated the enemy.
Speaker B:All we got to do is walk in his victory.
Speaker C:Amen.
Speaker B:Praise God.
Speaker B:Oh, hallelujah.
Speaker B:Let's go to Lord with a word of prayer.
Speaker B:I'm so excited.
Speaker B:I want to jump right into this Bible study today.
Speaker B:Father, in the name of Jesus, we thank you and praise you for the victory, victory in Jesus, our Savior forever.
Speaker B:Praise God.
Speaker B:Father, we thank you for the technology you have made available to us today to share your good news, the Gospel of Jesus around the world through the power of the Internet and Lord Jesus.
Speaker B:We pray that somehow, some way, this day, with the technology you made available, that someone somewhere would receive you as their Savior.
Speaker B:And we give you all honor, glory and praise for it.
Speaker B:And we thank you, Father, that your Holy Spirit leads, guides and directs this conversation this day.
Speaker B:We pray all this in Jesus name.
Speaker C:Amen and Amen.
Speaker B:Join me in our profession of faith, commonly referred to as the Apostles Creed.
Speaker B:We do this each and every week on those broadcasts, just us to lay what I like calling the solid foundation upon which we can build this Bible study.
Speaker C:Amen.
Speaker B:Just repeat these words after me.
Speaker B:At least loud enough for your own two ears to hear.
Speaker B:Because faith comes by what?
Speaker B:Hearing?
Speaker B:Hearing by the word of God.
Speaker C:Amen.
Speaker B:So just repeat after me.
Speaker B:I believe in God, the Father Almighty, Maker of heaven and earth, and in Jesus Christ, his only son, our Lord, who was conceived by the Holy Spirit, born of the Virgin Mary, suffered under Pontius Pilate, was crucified, dead and buried.
Speaker B:He descended into hell.
Speaker B:But the third day, he rose again from the dead.
Speaker B:Praise God.
Speaker B:He's ascended up into heaven and is seated right now at the right hand of God the Father Almighty from where he's about to make his return to judge both the living and the dead.
Speaker B:I believe in the Holy Spirit.
Speaker B:I believe the church is the body of Christ.
Speaker B:I believe in the communion of saints.
Speaker B:I believe in the forgiveness of sins.
Speaker B:I believe in the resurrection of the body.
Speaker B:And I believe in life everlasting.
Speaker B:In Jesus name, Amen.
Speaker B:Praise God.
Speaker B:Hallelujah.
Speaker B:If you have your Bibles, turn to Luke chapter four with me today.
Speaker B:This is going to be one of those great days.
Speaker B:I've been excited about this all week long and I'm glad that it's finally here so we can study it together.
Speaker B:Amen.
Speaker B:Praise God.
Speaker B:Luke chapter four.
Speaker B:Now imagine this.
Speaker B:Forty days.
Speaker B:No food, no comfort, no human interaction.
Speaker B:Just you alone in the wilderness, battling exhaustion, hunger for sure.
Speaker B:And for those of you that have ever experienced it, the mental fog that comes with starvation.
Speaker B:You are physically drained, mentally worn out, spiritually under pressure.
Speaker B:That's exactly where Jesus was when Satan made his move.
Speaker B:Let's look at this in Luke chapter four.
Speaker B:You can also read it in Matthew chapter four.
Speaker B:But the enemy didn't show up on day one in a fast, did he?
Speaker B:No.
Speaker B:He waited, he stopped, he studied, he watched.
Speaker B:And when Jesus was at his weakest physical moment, that's when the devil struck, isn't it?
Speaker B:Let's look at this now.
Speaker B:Luke chapter four.
Speaker B:Let's start in, well we'll just start in chapter verse 1.
Speaker B:Jesus being full of the Holy Spirit, returned from Jordan, was led by the Spirit into the wilderness.
Speaker B:So let's stop right there.
Speaker B:You can be spirit filled, still tempted.
Speaker C:Amen.
Speaker B:That's what this is showing us right here.
Speaker B:40 days tempted of the devil.
Speaker B:In those days he ate nothing when they were ended.
Speaker B:He afterward was hungry.
Speaker B:Go figure.
Speaker B:The devil said to a the devil, when put it like this.
Speaker B:When I was in the military, if we were in a fight, if it came down to, you know, just hand to hand combat and same thing as a cop.
Speaker B:It came down to hand to hand combat.
Speaker B:There was no such thing as quote unquote, a fair fight, right?
Speaker B:The enemy is there to kill you.
Speaker B:If you're a cop and someone is fighting you and you got all this stuff on, they're only doing that for one reason.
Speaker B:They want to kill you at that moment.
Speaker B:There is no such thing as a fair fight.
Speaker B:You pick up anything you can, a rock, a stick, whatever it takes to subdue your enemy.
Speaker C:Amen.
Speaker B:And there is no such thing as a fair fight.
Speaker B:And the devil did not fight fair.
Speaker B:He hit Jesus when He was at his weakest moment, right?
Speaker B:He knew Jesus was hungry.
Speaker B:So what did he offer?
Speaker B:Well, let's look at it.
Speaker B:The devil said to him, if you're the son of God.
Speaker B:Why would he say that?
Speaker B:Well, he's been looking for someone that God had prophesied would come, right?
Speaker B:He's gonna.
Speaker B:You're gonna bruise his heel.
Speaker B:He's gonna crush your head with his heel, right?
Speaker B:And all the prophets of old devil's like, is this him?
Speaker B:Could this be him?
Speaker B:Well, now, here he has Jesus, right?
Speaker B:He's seen a lot of people come and go ever since God first prophesied that.
Speaker B:And he seed.
Speaker B:A lot of people claim to be the anointed one, claim to be the son of God, claim to be the Messiah.
Speaker B:And when he tested them, he found out they weren't.
Speaker C:Amen.
Speaker B:Don't shut me down when I'm preaching.
Speaker B:Good.
Speaker B:Praise God.
Speaker B:So Jesus here, here he is now, He's.
Speaker B:He hears the whole, you know, God voice echoing throughout the earth.
Speaker B:This is my beloved son and whom I am well pleased.
Speaker B:Satan heard it.
Speaker B:He wanted to come see who it was.
Speaker B:And now he's just watching.
Speaker B:He's just watching.
Speaker B:He's watching, studying, studying the enemy.
Speaker B:He's studying Jesus here 40 days now.
Speaker B:No food, no water.
Speaker B:Well, he probably had water, but no food.
Speaker B:And here he comes with temptation.
Speaker B:He knew Jesus was hungry, so what did he offer?
Speaker B:Bread.
Speaker B:He knew Jesus had authority.
Speaker B:So what, he tempt him with power.
Speaker B:He knew Jesus trusted the father, so what did he challenge?
Speaker B:Will God really protect you?
Speaker B:I mean, the devil twisted scripture, right?
Speaker B:We see that in know he says here, if you're the son of God, if you're the son of God, you have authority to create things here.
Speaker B:Just command this stone to turn into bread.
Speaker B:You're hungry.
Speaker B:You've proven yourself.
Speaker B:Go ahead, turn it into bread.
Speaker B:Show me that you're God.
Speaker B:And Jesus answer said, it's written that man shall not live by bread alone, but by every word of God.
Speaker B:And then the devil took him up to a high mountain and showed him all the kingdoms of the world in one moment of time.
Speaker B:Now, we studied before about the portals, okay?
Speaker B:And this is a moment that is used in that teaching that I did where how could he show them all the kingdoms of the world in one moment of time, but through a portal?
Speaker B:How could he transfer them up to a high mountain to oversee everything?
Speaker B:How could he take them immediately up to the temple, you know, from the wilderness to do all that?
Speaker B:Except for these portals that are available to that realm.
Speaker B:He said, you know all of this power I give to you, all the glory of everyone there will worship you because I can give it to whoever I want to.
Speaker B:It was given to me.
Speaker B:I can give it to whoever I want to give it to.
Speaker B:And Jesus said, get behind me.
Speaker B:Satan is written, you shall not work.
Speaker B:You shall worship the Lord your God, and only him shall you serve.
Speaker B:That's what he brought him to Jerusalem, set him on a pinnacle of temple, said to him, if you're the Son of God, cast yourself down, for it is written, he'll give his angels charge over you to keep you in all your ways.
Speaker B:Their hands in their hands, they'll bury you up, lest at any time you'll dash your foot against a stone.
Speaker B:And Jesus answered him, it is said, you shall not tempt the Lord your God.
Speaker B:And after that, the devil had added all the temptation to depart of him for a season.
Speaker B:Now notice how the devil twists scripture.
Speaker B:He distorts the truth.
Speaker B:He tried to get to bait Jesus into proving himself.
Speaker B:All in an attempt to get him to step outside of God's will.
Speaker B:That sound familiar?
Speaker B:The devil hasn't changed his strategy.
Speaker B:Flesh, pride and power.
Speaker B:He waits for our weakest moments.
Speaker B:When we're tired, when we're discouraged, when we're overwhelmed, when we're struggling.
Speaker B:Then he strikes.
Speaker B:He whispers his lies and.
Speaker B:And his half truth said, if God really loved you, wouldn't he have answered your prayer by now?
Speaker B:If you're really called, why are you struggling like this so much?
Speaker B:Tell you what, just do this.
Speaker B:Just compromise a little bit.
Speaker B:It's not going to hurt anybody.
Speaker B:Nobody will even know.
Speaker B:But it'll make things happen a lot faster for you, Right?
Speaker B:Well, he uses the same tactics today, but here's the good news.
Speaker B:Oh, it is good news.
Speaker B:Jesus already showed us exactly how to win.
Speaker B:And his strategy?
Speaker B:Speaking the word, speaking the truth.
Speaker B:Using the same red letter words that sent Satan packing into the wilderness.
Speaker B:Praise God.
Speaker B:Jesus didn't need a miracle.
Speaker B:He didn't need a sign.
Speaker B:He didn't even need divine intervention to defeat the devil.
Speaker B:He simply spoke the word.
Speaker B:He quoted what had already been written.
Speaker B:The same words that have been preserved for us now in the red letters.
Speaker C:Amen.
Speaker B:The same words that Jesus used from the Old Testament he made into the new through his red letter words and made them available for us.
Speaker C:Amen.
Speaker B:They are recorded in the red letters for us today.
Speaker B:That means we don't have to guess, we don't have to struggle, we don't have to fight in our own strength.
Speaker B:The same words Jesus spoke are still just as powerful today as they.
Speaker B:And they're available to us at any time, folks, at any time, anywhere, in any circumstance.
Speaker B:You know, when the enemy tempts you to doubt God's protection, to doubt God's provision, you just declare, man shall not live by bread alone, but by every word that proceeds from the mouth of God.
Speaker B:That's Matthew 4.
Speaker B:4.
Speaker B:When fear creeps in and the devil whispers that, you're not gonna make it this time, he's not protecting you now, you just respond, you shall not tempt the Lord your God.
Speaker B:Matthew 4.
Speaker B:7.
Speaker B:When he offers you a shortcut or power or money or success, all at the cost of compromise, you just shut them down with, you shall worship the Lord, your God.
Speaker B:Him only shall you serve.
Speaker B:Jesus wasn't just resisting the devil, he was teaching us how to do it.
Speaker B:Praise God.
Speaker B:Every time Satan came at him, Jesus did not waver.
Speaker B:He didn't let his emotions take over.
Speaker B:He did not even entertain the thought.
Speaker B:Praise God.
Speaker B:He simply spoke the word with authority and the devil had no choice but to back off.
Speaker B:And guess what?
Speaker B:That same authority is in our hands today.
Speaker B:In your hands.
Speaker B:When the devil comes at you with doubt or fear, discouragement or compromise, you fight back with the same words Jesus used.
Speaker B:Amen.
Speaker B:They worked then and they work now.
Speaker B:This is our weapon.
Speaker C:Amen.
Speaker B:This is our weapon.
Speaker B:This is our defense.
Speaker B:This is our victory.
Speaker B:Praise the Lord.
Speaker B:If Jesus won the battle with his words, we can win with his words, too.
Speaker B:Now get ready, because today we're going to learn exactly how to do that.
Speaker B:Praise God.
Speaker B:Now listen to me here.
Speaker B:To have the same victory by using the word of God, first you have to know the word of God.
Speaker B:In order to know the word of God, you have to be reading the word of God.
Speaker B:Yeah, I know it's going to take some effort on your part, isn't it?
Speaker B:But it's like a soldier going into battle, you know, I can relate to this.
Speaker B:So.
Speaker B:Well, they just handed him a new type of weapon.
Speaker B:They said, here you go.
Speaker B:This thing is going to work all the time.
Speaker B:Go get him, boy.
Speaker B:He wouldn't be able to function and probably end up getting himself and others killed in the process.
Speaker B:But you have to take the time to train him on that new weapon.
Speaker B:Take time to expose him to scenarios where it can be used effectively.
Speaker B:Take time to integrate him into situations where he gets to actually use it and practice.
Speaker B:Then he becomes a mighty force to be used by the authority that sends him into battle.
Speaker C:Amen.
Speaker B:Well, it works the same way with the word of God.
Speaker B:I mean, have you ever seen new believers in action?
Speaker B:I call them baby Christians.
Speaker B:I love baby Christians.
Speaker B:I mean, they're so excited.
Speaker B:They.
Speaker B:They are on fire for Jesus.
Speaker C:Amen.
Speaker B:And they're all excited and they're.
Speaker B:They're trying to quote what scripture they know, and they're.
Speaker B:They're laying hands on people and they're praying with people telling everybody they know about Jesus, right?
Speaker B:Then they come up against an experienced demon, a possessed person, and they.
Speaker B:They have their lunch handed to them.
Speaker B:You know, we talk about the sons of ska, right?
Speaker B:They.
Speaker B:They thought, oh, we can do this.
Speaker B:You know, we've seen Paul do this.
Speaker B:We can do this.
Speaker B:And they started making money with it.
Speaker B:Man, it was working great.
Speaker B:They're like, man, this is a great racket.
Speaker B:Till it came up against that one devil that was in a man.
Speaker B:And they said, we command you to come out of him in the name of Jesus whom Paul preaches.
Speaker B:They'll say, paul, I know Jesus.
Speaker B:I know who you.
Speaker B:I love that story.
Speaker B:And they had their lunch handed to them.
Speaker B:Amen.
Speaker B:Well, it's the same way here, right?
Speaker B:When a baby Christian.
Speaker B:I like calling baby Christians.
Speaker B:You know, babies are so cute.
Speaker B:And everybody.
Speaker B:Oh, ain't they're so cute.
Speaker B:Look at them.
Speaker B:And they're running around.
Speaker B:They got a lot of dirty diapers that need to be changed, don't they?
Speaker B:Yeah.
Speaker B:Hey, but don't shut me down.
Speaker B:I'm preaching good.
Speaker B:Praise God.
Speaker B:Well, when a baby Christian comes up against, we'll just say an experienced demon possessed person, right?
Speaker B:And, you know, they've been having fun and witnessing and all this, and they end up having their lunch handed duo because they can't counter the arguments that demon uses against them.
Speaker B:They tell the devil, get.
Speaker B:And he laughs instead of goes.
Speaker B:How is that possible?
Speaker B:And why?
Speaker B:Well, it's because they haven't been thoroughly trained yet, okay.
Speaker B:They've been exposed to the truth, but they don't really know how to operate in it at that level of battle yet.
Speaker B:Okay, and how do they learn?
Speaker B:Well, they have to hang out with those who do know so they can get a taste of true battle, same as a soldier.
Speaker C:Amen.
Speaker B:You know, there's a reason we're called soldiers in the army of God.
Speaker C:Amen.
Speaker B:Now, before you go turning me off, let me say this.
Speaker B:How do you know what you're supposed to know?
Speaker B:The answer is simple.
Speaker B:Study.
Speaker B:Study.
Speaker B:Well, what should you study, brother Bob?
Speaker B:Oh, well, Jesus made it simple.
Speaker B:He inspired someone to put all his words in red letters in the Bible.
Speaker B:Praise God.
Speaker B:It's kind of like the instruction manual for the weapon you're about to use in battle.
Speaker B:Now, if you're a soldier going into battle and they give you a weapon, wouldn't it.
Speaker B:Don't you think it'd be a good thing to become intimately familiar with the instruction manual on how to use that weapon?
Speaker C:Amen.
Speaker B:In the army, you need to be so familiar with your personal weapon.
Speaker B:You can disassemble it and then reassemble it in under two minutes blindfolded.
Speaker B:Blindfolded?
Speaker B:Yeah.
Speaker B:They hand you the way you put the blindfold on.
Speaker B:They say, go.
Speaker B:You got to disassemble that thing and then put it all back together by touch.
Speaker B:I'm not exaggerating.
Speaker B:I had to do it as a drill sergeant.
Speaker B:I had my men learn how to do it.
Speaker B:They practice that over and over and over.
Speaker C:Amen.
Speaker B:As you can learn, you can.
Speaker B:You can only learn to do that by really becoming intimate with that weapon.
Speaker B:Know how it functions, know how it's assembled, know what each part feels like.
Speaker B:And we didn't even get into the many rounds of a thousand rounds of ammunition they fire down range.
Speaker B:Learning how to shoot accurately.
Speaker C:Right.
Speaker B:They got to fire that thing and become.
Speaker B:Hit their targets in order to become qualified.
Speaker C:Amen.
Speaker B:Well, it's the same way with the word of God.
Speaker B:Yeah.
Speaker B:Praise God.
Speaker B:It works the same way.
Speaker B:Study these red words of Jesus, right?
Speaker B:Look at them in the different scenario settings that they occur in.
Speaker B:See how they work and what you can expect when you use them.
Speaker B:Jesus explained it all for us.
Speaker B:If we'd only take the time to read this manual.
Speaker C:Amen.
Speaker B:That's why.
Speaker B:That's why I just love this book back here.
Speaker B:Right?
Speaker B:Seven messages of Jesus or the.
Speaker B:Sorry, what did Jesus say?
Speaker B:The seven messages from the master.
Speaker B:I mean, it does all the organizing for you.
Speaker C:Amen.
Speaker B:Get your copy of this book right here.
Speaker C:Amen.
Speaker B:Get your copy of this book right here.
Speaker B:And it.
Speaker B:It's a study guide, I guess you could say.
Speaker B:Praise God.
Speaker C:Amen.
Speaker B:It will take you through the processes that we're talking about.
Speaker B:All right, let's continue.
Speaker B:The first temptation of Jesus.
Speaker B:Trusting God's provision over your immediate needs.
Speaker B:The devil is nothing if not strategic, right?
Speaker B:He doesn't attack you at your strongest point.
Speaker B:He waits for the moment when you are weak, when you're exhausted, when you're vulnerable.
Speaker B:That's exactly what he did to Jesus in the wilderness, after 40 days with no food, Jesus wasn't just hungry.
Speaker B:He was as we say down south.
Speaker B:Hungry.
Speaker B:He's hungry.
Speaker B:His body was physically depleted.
Speaker B:His mind had endured weeks of solitude.
Speaker B:His flesh was crying out for nourishment.
Speaker B:And that's when Satan made his move.
Speaker B:But he didn't come with an obvious blatant attack.
Speaker B:He didn't show up with threats.
Speaker B:He didn't show up trying to intimidate Jesus.
Speaker B:Instead, he came with something Jesus really needed.
Speaker B:Something Jesus had every right to have.
Speaker B:He says now, if you are who you say you are, just use the power that's already available to you to meet your own needs, boy.
Speaker B:I mean, the first temptation was deceptively simple.
Speaker B:If that's where it is, those two letters.
Speaker B:If you are the Son of God, command this stone be made bread.
Speaker B:You've proven yourself.
Speaker B:Go ahead and get something to eat.
Speaker B:First glance, it may seem like a reasonable suggestion.
Speaker C:Man.
Speaker B:Jesus was hungry and he had the power to turn stones into bread.
Speaker B:There's nothing sinful about eating.
Speaker B:I praise God for that.
Speaker B:I like to eat.
Speaker B:Praise God.
Speaker B:So what was the trap?
Speaker B:The real temptation wasn't about the bread.
Speaker B:It was about trust.
Speaker B:Trust.
Speaker B:Satan wanted Jesus to take matters into his own hands.
Speaker B:Instead of waiting on the Father's provision.
Speaker B:He wanted Jesus to prove his sonship by performing a miracle at the devil's command.
Speaker B:Because it just wasn't about the food.
Speaker B:It's about whether Jesus would act independently from the will of God.
Speaker C:Amen.
Speaker B:Did you hear me there?
Speaker B:That is one of Satan's oldest tricks.
Speaker B:He didn't ask Jesus to steal bread, lie about bread, or kill for bread.
Speaker B:He simply suggested that Jesus use his own power that's available to him to meet his own needs instead of trusting the Father.
Speaker B:And that's exactly how the devil tempts us today.
Speaker B:He waits for us to get at our weakest moment and then whispers the same old lies.
Speaker B:You know, if God really loved you, why are you still struggling so much?
Speaker B:You know, if you had real faith once, your prayers have been answered by now, why wait on God anymore?
Speaker B:Just take care of it yourself.
Speaker B:It's okay.
Speaker B:It's the temptation to doubt God's provision and take these shortcuts to meet our own needs.
Speaker B:That's where we get into trouble.
Speaker C:Amen.
Speaker B:Praise God.
Speaker B:Go ahead and nod your head in agreement.
Speaker B:Yeah, preach it, Brother Bob.
Speaker B:That's right.
Speaker B:But Jesus didn't fall for it, did he?
Speaker B:He didn't argue.
Speaker B:He didn't even acknowledge Satan's manipulative question.
Speaker B:Instead, he went straight to the word of God.
Speaker B:His answer.
Speaker B:Man shall not live by Bread alone.
Speaker B:But by every word of God.
Speaker B:Luke 4:4.
Speaker B:In that one moment, Jesus made it very clear.
Speaker B:Physical provision is not our source.
Speaker B:God is our source.
Speaker B:The words of the Father are more essential than food, money or any material need we may have.
Speaker B:Jesus saying, I don't need to take matters in my own hands because my Father provide me food in his time.
Speaker B:Oh man, I know somebody out there got that revelation right there.
Speaker B:Praise God.
Speaker B:Shout Amen somebody somewhere.
Speaker B:Hallelujah.
Speaker B:That's the exact response we need.
Speaker B:When the devil tempts us to doubt God's provision, he always comes after us in the areas where we feel lack.
Speaker B:He'll whisper what we're missing out on, that God's not working fast enough that we need to take control of this situation.
Speaker B:The temptation might not be about food either.
Speaker B:It could be about finances or relationships or career decisions.
Speaker B:Maybe it's the pressure to compromise for a job opportunity or to rush into a relationship out of loneliness or to cut corners in business just a little bit so we can get ahead.
Speaker B:The devil is always making this shortcut look reasonable, logical, or even necessary but.
Speaker B:There's always a but, isn't there?
Speaker B:But every shortcut costs something.
Speaker B:It costs faith, it costs peace.
Speaker B:Sometimes it costs your integrity.
Speaker C:Amen.
Speaker B:Jesus gave us the blueprint for resisting this kind of temptation.
Speaker B:He did not debate the devil at all.
Speaker B:He didn't even try to explain himself to the devil.
Speaker B:He simply spoke the words that were written down.
Speaker B:That's how we're supposed to fight too.
Speaker C:Amen.
Speaker B:When Satan tempts you with with thoughts of lack, just respond with the same red letter words Jesus spoke.
Speaker B:They're here.
Speaker B:Luke, chapter 4.
Speaker B:Matthew, chapter 4.
Speaker B:Man shall not live by bread alone, but by every word from God.
Speaker B:When he whispers that God isn't going to take care of you in this situation, you declare.
Speaker B:Seek first the kingdom of God, his righteousness and all these other things will be added to you when the enemy tells you you have to take matters into your own hands now, just stand on the word.
Speaker B:My God supplies all my needs according to his riches in glory by Christ Jesus.
Speaker C:Amen.
Speaker B:When we end this lesson right now, we.
Speaker B:We could stop right now and you'd have all you need to get through this coming week.
Speaker C:Amen.
Speaker B:But we ain't done yet.
Speaker B:Praise God.
Speaker B:We're just getting on a roll now.
Speaker B:The devil's goal is always to get us to act outside of God's will.
Speaker B:He wants us to believe that God's promises just aren't enough for us, that we need to force things to happen on our own.
Speaker B:But Jesus showed us that faith isn't about instant gratification, despite what you see on tv.
Speaker B:It's about trusting in God's timing, trusting in his provision in our lives.
Speaker C:Amen.
Speaker B:Jesus definitely had the power to turn those stones into bread.
Speaker B:But he knew that waiting on the Father was far better than providing himself anything to eat, especially if it meant doing what the devil said to do.
Speaker B:And every day, every day we face this same battle.
Speaker B:Will we trust God's provision?
Speaker B:Or will we panic and grab for something outside of his will?
Speaker B:The devil will always come at us with needs, desires, fears, hoping we'll try to take a shortcut.
Speaker B:But just like Jesus, we don't fight temptation by reasoning, by debating, or by trying to resist in our own strength.
Speaker B:We need to fight it with a red letter.
Speaker B:Words of Jesus.
Speaker C:Amen.
Speaker B:When we speak his words in faith, the enemy has no choice but to back off.
Speaker B:You hear me?
Speaker B:He has no choice in the matter.
Speaker B:Praise God.
Speaker B:Hallelujah.
Speaker B:Jesus overcame this temptation not because he was the Son of God, but because he stood on the word of God, the same word we have available to us today.
Speaker B:And if Jesus won the battle, so can we.
Speaker B:The devil's tricks haven't changed.
Speaker B:His strategies haven't changed.
Speaker B:Neither has the weapon we have available to defeat him.
Speaker B:It hadn't changed either.
Speaker B:When we declare the red letter words of Jesus over our lives, we are not just quoting scripture, folks.
Speaker B:We are wielding a sword that shatters the enemy's lies.
Speaker B:Hey, man, I gotta get me a drink of coffee on that one.
Speaker B:Praise God.
Speaker B:All right, again, it's like a soldier going into battle.
Speaker B:We advance, we engage, we defeat the enemy.
Speaker B:With what?
Speaker B:With the weapon you have available to you that you have been trained on.
Speaker B:An infantry soldier and all soldiers, like I said, are trained in using their personal weapon.
Speaker B:They are trained to maneuver themselves into a position to engage the enemy with this weapon and to defeat the enemy with this weapon.
Speaker B:It works exactly the same way with the word of God in defeating any attack from the devil.
Speaker B:Any attack, health issues, the enemy hasn't changed his tactics, mental issues.
Speaker B:He still tries to work on your mind.
Speaker B:Whisper in your ear, financial issues or that's a big one today.
Speaker C:Amen.
Speaker B:The tactics are the same, but guess what?
Speaker B:The weapon we have available to us has been battle tested.
Speaker B:It works every single time and in every single instance is used as we've been taught to use it.
Speaker B:Praise God.
Speaker B:Are you getting this?
Speaker B:I pray you're getting this.
Speaker B:That's how Folks, we overcome the first temptation that's with the weapon.
Speaker B:And that's why Jesus example is more than just a story.
Speaker B:It's our strategy for victory.
Speaker C:Amen.
Speaker B:Let's move on to the second temptation.
Speaker B:Praise the Lord.
Speaker B:Hallelujah.
Speaker B:Praise God.
Speaker B:Second temptation.
Speaker B:Refusing to manipulate God for our own selfish gain.
Speaker B:Now, the first temptation was about meeting a legitimate need outside of God's timing.
Speaker B:Jesus was hungry, and Satan tempted him to take control instead of trust in the Father.
Speaker B:But when that attack failed, the devil changed his approach.
Speaker B:This time, he twisted scripture itself, attempting to use God's own words as a weapon against Jesus.
Speaker B:Satan took him to the pinnacle of the temple and said, if you're the Son of God, throw yourself down from here.
Speaker B:Because it is written, God will give you his angels charge over you to keep you, and in their hands they'll bear you up, lest you dash your foot against the stone.
Speaker B:Luke, chapter 4, verses 9 through 11.
Speaker B:Notice he conveniently left part out, right?
Speaker B:He said, let's turn over there.
Speaker C:Amen.
Speaker B:I love.
Speaker B:This is it.
Speaker B:Where is it?
Speaker B:Here to the temple is written.
Speaker B:He'll keep you charged already.
Speaker B:Keep you and all to keep you in their hands.
Speaker B:To keep you in all your ways is the scripture.
Speaker B:He left that part out.
Speaker B:It's no one's way.
Speaker B:The job.
Speaker B:Attempt to prove God, you know, go up to the tallest building you can find and say, God, if you love me, you'll catch me.
Speaker B:Boom.
Speaker B:Yeah, that's tempting God.
Speaker B:Nowhere in the Bible does it say, when you want to see if God loves you or not, jump off a building.
Speaker B:It does not say that.
Speaker C:Right?
Speaker B:And notice what he did here.
Speaker B:He left that out in Psalms 91.
Speaker B:The original passage says, God will protect those who dwell in his presence and walk in obedience.
Speaker B:Satan conveniently skipped that part.
Speaker B:He twisted the meaning and suggest that Jesus should force God to act to force God to prove he loves him.
Speaker B:If I'm really God's man, show me.
Speaker B:As if divine protection was something that could be tested rather than trusted.
Speaker C:Right.
Speaker B:Using our example of a soldier, if facing an enemy firing position, say a machine gun nest, he can trust God to protect him in the battle.
Speaker B:But if he said, if God really loves me, they can't hit me.
Speaker B:And he stands up, pulls out his bayonet, and just starts walking towards that machine gun pit.
Speaker B:No tactics, no.
Speaker B:No maneuvers.
Speaker B:He says, if God.
Speaker B:Well, you can imagine how that scenario would end, right?
Speaker C:Amen.
Speaker B:Violate the training you've been given, violate the use of the weapons you've been given, and just Decide if God really loves me, they can't hit me.
Speaker B:And you start walking in the open with a bayonet in your hand, it's not going to end well.
Speaker B:Right?
Speaker B:And what we're talking about here was a direct challenge to Jesus faith.
Speaker B:Satan was essentially saved.
Speaker B:If you really believe what's written, prove it.
Speaker B:If you really trust God, take the step.
Speaker B:That temptation wasn't just about jumping, is about demanding a sign.
Speaker B:Because if Jesus was the one, he knew everything that was supposed to take place with the Messiah.
Speaker B:If Jesus was the one, God would have been forced to save him.
Speaker B:That's Satan's point of view on this.
Speaker B:He just wanted to see, are you the one?
Speaker B:If you are, take the step.
Speaker B:Prove was about manipulating God into proving his promises rather than simply trusting his word.
Speaker B:That's what he's trying to get Jesus to do, just prove it.
Speaker B:But Jesus saw through that deception immediately as well.
Speaker B:He responded with another written word, this time for Deuteronomy, chapter 6, verse 16.
Speaker B:You shall not tempt the Lord your God.
Speaker B:We can read that in Luke 4:12.
Speaker B:With that single sentence, that one statement.
Speaker B:Jesus shut down that argument completely.
Speaker B:He knew that true faith does not demand a sign.
Speaker B:It just rests on God's promise without any kind of manipulation at all.
Speaker C:Amen.
Speaker B:That same temptation still at work today.
Speaker B:Think about it.
Speaker B:How often does the enemy whisper, if God's real, he should prove it to you.
Speaker B:Or if you really had faith, it wouldn't, you wouldn't be struggling like this.
Speaker B:Or if God said he'd protect you, so why not just take the risk and see?
Speaker B:Satan loves to twist scripture.
Speaker B:He loves to try and make people believe that real faith means forcing God's hand instead of simply trusting in his timing.
Speaker B:That's exactly why so many people fall into doubt.
Speaker B:They pray for something, but when they don't see immediate results, they start demanding a sign.
Speaker B:They start looking for proof.
Speaker B:Instead of walking in faith, they start testing God instead of trusting God.
Speaker B:They may even put themselves in reckless situations, thinking God somehow obligated to rescue them.
Speaker B:But Jesus made it clear God's promises are not to be tested, to be trusted.
Speaker C:Amen.
Speaker B:Trusted.
Speaker B:When the enemy tempts us to demand signs or force God to act, we have to respond just like Jesus did.
Speaker B:You shall not tempt the Lord your God.
Speaker B:Amen.
Speaker B:We don't need to test God to prove he's faithful.
Speaker B:His words already prove it.
Speaker B:We don't need to be to to take reckless risks just to see if he'll catch us.
Speaker B:He's already promised to uphold us.
Speaker B:Real faith does not say God.
Speaker B:If you're real, show me real faith, says God.
Speaker B:I believe your word even when I don't see it, even when I don't understand it.
Speaker B:This temptation also shows us it shows up in another way, the idea that we can manipulate God into giving us what we want.
Speaker B:Some people use prayer like a magic formula, thinking that if they just say the right words in the right order or they do the right things, God has to respond like a genie in a bottle.
Speaker B:But faith isn't about twisting God's arm.
Speaker B:Faith is about trusting his will.
Speaker B:Jesus didn't jump from the temple to prove God's protection.
Speaker B:Instead, he stood on the promise of scripture without needing to test it at all.
Speaker B:That's folks, that is what real faith looks like.
Speaker C:Amen.
Speaker B:The devil still uses this trick today.
Speaker B:He'll tempt you to think, if God really loves me, he'll prove it by fixing this situation right now.
Speaker B:Or if I.
Speaker B:If I had real faith, I'd never be struggling with doubt anymore.
Speaker B:But we don't need to put God to the test.
Speaker B:His faithfulness is already established.
Speaker B:When doubts come, we stand on the same red letter words Jesus spoke.
Speaker B:When the devil tempts you to demand a sign, you declare, blessed are those who have not seen, yet have believed.
Speaker B:John 20, verse 29.
Speaker B:When he tells you that faith means forcing God to act, you remind them you shall not tempt the Lord.
Speaker B:Lord your God.
Speaker B:Luke 4:12.
Speaker B:When he tries to twist scripture against you, you do what Jesus did.
Speaker B:You respond with the full truth of God's word, not the enemy's distorted view of it.
Speaker B:The second temptation was about forcing God's hand, but putting faith on trial instead of simply trusting the Father.
Speaker B:But Jesus shut it down instantly.
Speaker B:He didn't need to prove his faith.
Speaker B:He simply walked in his faith.
Speaker B:That's how we win this battle day.
Speaker B:We don't test God.
Speaker B:We trust God.
Speaker B:We don't demand signs.
Speaker B:We believe his word.
Speaker B:When the enemy twists scripture, we stand on the red letter words of Jesus, knowing that his truth is more than enough in every instance.
Speaker B:That's how we overcome the second temptation.
Speaker B:Let's move on to the final battle now the third temptation.
Speaker B:Choosing obedience over compromise.
Speaker B:This is a big one in today's society.
Speaker C:Amen.
Speaker B:Satan's first two attempts to tempt Jesus had failed.
Speaker B:Jesus refused to take matters into his own hands to satisfy his hunger.
Speaker B:And he refused to try and manipulate God into proving his protection.
Speaker B:Now the devil dropped all pretenses.
Speaker B:He stopped twisting Scripture.
Speaker B:He stopped pretending to be subtle.
Speaker B:Instead, he made his most brazen offer yet.
Speaker C:Amen.
Speaker B:He took Jesus to a high place.
Speaker B:Satan showed him all the kingdoms of the world in one moment of time.
Speaker B:Then came the deal.
Speaker B:All of this authority I'll give to you.
Speaker B:All of this glory I give to you.
Speaker B:For this has been delivered to me, and I can give it to whomever I wish.
Speaker B:Therefore, if you'll worship me, all of this will be yours.
Speaker B:This was just not an offer of power.
Speaker B:Think about it.
Speaker B:It was a shortcut to the very thing Jesus had come to obtain, the kingdom.
Speaker B:Satan was essentially saying, you're here for a kingdom, right?
Speaker B:Well, I have a kingdom.
Speaker B:And guess what?
Speaker B:It was given to me.
Speaker B:I can give it to anyone I want to.
Speaker B:Why go through all that suffering, the rejection, the pain of the cross?
Speaker B:Just acknowledge my authority and I'll give it to you.
Speaker B:No suffering necessary.
Speaker B:That was a direct challenge.
Speaker B:The devil was daring Jesus to acknowledge him as the ruler of the world.
Speaker B:Was Satan telling the truth?
Speaker B:Well, in one sense, yes.
Speaker B:The Bible confirms the devil has been given temporary authority over the earth due to Adam's sin.
Speaker B: e ruler of this world in John: Speaker B:But here's the deception.
Speaker B:Satan didn't own the world.
Speaker B:He had stolen the world.
Speaker B:The earth still belonged to God.
Speaker B:Psalms 24:1.
Speaker B:Jesus had come to reclaim it.
Speaker B:The devil was offering what wasn't truly his, hoping Jesus would take the bait.
Speaker B:Jesus saw through that lie too, didn't he?
Speaker B:Amen.
Speaker B:He knew that Satan did not truly control the kingdoms.
Speaker B:God did.
Speaker C:Amen.
Speaker B:Scripture makes it clear.
Speaker B:He changes times and seasons.
Speaker B:He removes kings and raises up kings.
Speaker B:And he gives wisdom to the wise and knowledge to those who have understanding.
Speaker B:Daniel 2:21.
Speaker B:God is the one who sets up rulers and removes them, not Satan.
Speaker B:Even though Jesus would suffer, even though the cross was ahead of him, he refused to take the easy way out.
Speaker B:He would not bow, even for one moment.
Speaker B:How many today have fallen for this same temptation?
Speaker B:How many have exchanged truth for lies, integrity for success, faith for power?
Speaker B:How many have taken the easy way out instead of just trusting God's timing and everything?
Speaker B:The reality, folks, Satan still offers people kingdoms.
Speaker B:He still whispers, I can give you the influence you want.
Speaker B:I can make your business explode.
Speaker B:I can get you that promotion you desire.
Speaker B:Just bend a little bit right here.
Speaker B:Just cut this corner and do it my way and watch how fast it happens.
Speaker B:And this isn't just a theoretical idea, okay?
Speaker B:This isn't just something that a preacher Talks about it has been openly admitted to by some of the biggest names in the entertainment industry today.
Speaker B:A friend of mine, Pastor Joe Schimmel, founder of Good Fight Ministries out in California, I've interviewed him several times.
Speaker B:He had a documentary that I first was introduced to his way back in the 80s, I think it was.
Speaker B:It's called they Sold Their Souls for Rock and Roll.
Speaker B:Numerous celebrities and musicians have publicly confessed on tape that they made deals for fame, wealth and power.
Speaker B:Many of them claim to have knowingly entered into agreements that compromise their souls, while others describe a force that took over their careers once they aligned with the industry's darker influences.
Speaker B:For example, in this documentary, I'm talking about Bob Dylan, one of the most influential musicians in history, is on video where he admitted in an interview that he had made a bargain long ago, that he was still holding up his end of the deal.
Speaker B:When asked what he meant, he cryptically referred to a chief commander of this world, the one we cannot see.
Speaker B:His words strongly suggested an acknowledgment that his fame came with a cost.
Speaker C:Amen.
Speaker B:Another artist, Katy Perry, she openly admitted that she once wanted to be a Christian singer, but that she had, and this is a quote, sold her soul to the devil to achieve pop superstardom.
Speaker B:Similarly, hip hop legend Jay Z has frequently used occult symbolism in his music and apparel, even wearing a hoodie that reads do what thou wilt, the famous mantra of Satanist Aleister Crowley.
Speaker B:Crowley's philosophy is all about rejecting God's authority and doing whatever pleases the individual.
Speaker B:Exactly what Satan offered Jesus in the wilderness, so his methods have not changed.
Speaker B:This theme appears again and again and again among high profile entertainers.
Speaker B:Many claim that a presence enters them while performing.
Speaker B:Some speaking of moments when they felt possessed on stage, as if something else was controlling them.
Speaker B:Others have spoken about how they no longer feel like themselves, as if.
Speaker B:As if they handed over part of who they were in exchange for their success.
Speaker B:And this is all documented, folks.
Speaker B:I'm not making it up.
Speaker B:This is serious.
Speaker B:Deadly serious.
Speaker C:Amen.
Speaker C:Amen.
Speaker B:And it's just not entertainment gossip.
Speaker B:It's the same exact strategy Satan used with Jesus.
Speaker B:The temptation is always the same.
Speaker B:Just compromise this little bit.
Speaker B:Bow one, just acknowledge this.
Speaker B:Just bow once to me, just for a second, acknowledge that I am in control of this world and I'll give you everything you want.
Speaker B:But Jesus did not waver.
Speaker B:His response was immediate and final.
Speaker B:Away with you, Satan.
Speaker B:For it is written, you shall worship the Lord your God, and him only shall you serve.
Speaker B:Jesus saw straight through that lie, he knew true power comes from obedience to God, not from bowing to the world's systems.
Speaker B:He understood that the suffering on the cross was nothing to be compared to the glory of God's kingdom.
Speaker B:Jesus could have had a kingdom immediately, had more fame, more fortune, more prestige than anyone before him had ever obtained.
Speaker B:Thank God he did not do it.
Speaker B:Instead, he endured the pain, the shame, the rejection, all of it, to obtain his coming kingdom.
Speaker C:Amen.
Speaker B:Ah, don't shut me down.
Speaker B:I'm preaching.
Speaker B:Good.
Speaker C:Amen.
Speaker B:Join me in a quick praise prayer right now.
Speaker B:Hallelujah.
Speaker B:Thank you, Jesus.
Speaker B:Oh, thank you, Lord, for doing this for us.
Speaker B:Oh, thank you, Jesus.
Speaker B:I praise you, Jesus, right now.
Speaker B:Hallelujah.
Speaker B:Thank you, Jesus.
Speaker B:Thank you.
Speaker B:Thank you.
Speaker B:Thank you.
Speaker B:Thank you.
Speaker B:Thank you.
Speaker B:Thank you, Jesus.
Speaker B:Praise you, Jesus.
Speaker B:Forever and ever.
Speaker C:Amen.
Speaker C:Amen.
Speaker B:Praise God.
Speaker B:Guess what?
Speaker B:The same choice stands before us today.
Speaker B:Will we compromise our faith or success?
Speaker B:Popularity for wealth?
Speaker B:Will we take the easy road and acknowledge the devil's influence in exchange for a shortcut?
Speaker B:Or will we stand firm, knowing that God's timing and God's plans are all always better that we can try and conceive, or what the devil can offer?
Speaker B:When the devil tempts you with a compromise, you respond the same way Jesus did, with the red letter words of truth.
Speaker B:When Satan tempts you to take a shortcut, you declare, seek ye first the kingdom of God and his righteousness.
Speaker B:All these things shall be added to you.
Speaker B:Matthew 6:33.
Speaker B:When he whispers that success is worth a little moral compromise, you remind him you shall wish.
Speaker B:Worship the Lord your God, and him only shall you serve.
Speaker B:Luke 4.
Speaker B:8.
Speaker B:When he tries to convince you that he controls your future, you stand on the truth, for the earth is the Lord's, and all the fullness thereof.
Speaker B:Psalms 24:1.
Speaker B:Satan still makes these offers, folks, just like he did with Jesus.
Speaker B:And he has.
Speaker B:He really has nothing to give away.
Speaker B:All success gained through compromise is temporary and will come at a terrible price.
Speaker B:Think about the drug dealers out there today, how they get involved with that.
Speaker B:Quick money, quick money.
Speaker B:You're.
Speaker B:You're struggling to buy groceries.
Speaker B:You make a deal with a drug dealer.
Speaker B:You go and deliver something, you know, all of a sudden you got $500.
Speaker B:Man, this is great.
Speaker B:If I did this again, I'd have another $500.
Speaker B:Next thing you know, you're cutting in.
Speaker B:Thousand a week, 5,000 a week, $10,000 a week, man, you're doing good.
Speaker B:He gets arrested through, and now they're coming to you.
Speaker B:You're taking over now.
Speaker B:It's a hundred thousand dollars.
Speaker B:What happens?
Speaker B:You end up getting caught.
Speaker B:And when you do, you lose your family.
Speaker B:You lose everything.
Speaker B:You get locked up for 20 years.
Speaker B:How much you making now?
Speaker B:Compromise always has a cost.
Speaker B:Jesus resisted it.
Speaker B:He won.
Speaker B:His kingdom did not come through these shortcuts or making deals with the enemy.
Speaker B:It came through obedience to the Father.
Speaker B:And in the end, he defeated Satan once and for all.
Speaker B:That's our victory too.
Speaker B:We don't need to choose power, influence or success by compromising our faith.
Speaker B:We don't need to bow down to the world's systems just to get ahead.
Speaker B:God's plan is always better.
Speaker B:His timing is always perfect and his reward is eternal.
Speaker B:Jesus showed us how to win.
Speaker B:No compromise needed, no shortcuts, just unwavering faith in the truth.
Speaker B:That's how we overcome the third temptation.
Speaker B:That's how we win.
Speaker B:That's how we walk in victory today.
Speaker B:As we get ready to close, I want to be very clear about something.
Speaker B:Victory can only come through the red letter words of Jesus.
Speaker B:Satan's temptations haven't changed.
Speaker B:He still waits until we're weak, hungry, tired and vulnerable.
Speaker B:He still whispers doubts and twists scriptures and offers shortcuts to power, shortcuts to wealth, shortcuts to success.
Speaker B:He still makes his empty promises, hoping we'll just take the bait.
Speaker B:But Jesus showed us exactly how to win.
Speaker B:He didn't fight temptation with emotions.
Speaker B:He didn't argue and negotiate with the enemy.
Speaker B:He didn't try to reason his way out.
Speaker B:He simply spoke the Word.
Speaker B:And that's our blueprint for victory.
Speaker C:Amen.
Speaker B:The same red letter words that Jesus used to shut down Satan in the wilderness is still our greatest weapon today.
Speaker B:Amen.
Speaker B:Praise God.
Speaker B:Amen.
Speaker B:It's so easy to do.
Speaker B:It's so easy.
Speaker B:All we have to do is speak the word.
Speaker C:Amen.
Speaker B:When the enemy tempts you to take control and doubt God's provision, you stand on.
Speaker B:Man shall not live by bread alone, but by every word from God.
Speaker C:Amen.
Speaker B:Praise the Lord.
Speaker B:These are not just words.
Speaker B:When we use them, Satan has no choice.
Speaker B:Choice but to back down.
Speaker B:No choice.
Speaker B:Amen.
Speaker B:The Bible says that after Jesus resisted the third temptation, the devil left him.
Speaker B:And then what happened?
Speaker B:Angels came and ministered to him.
Speaker B:Matthew 4:11.
Speaker B:The battle ended.
Speaker B:Jesus received strength.
Speaker B:From whom?
Speaker B:God the Father.
Speaker B:He was trusting God to take care of his needs.
Speaker B:And guess what?
Speaker B:God answered.
Speaker B:The battle ended and Jesus was strengthened.
Speaker B:That's what happens when we stand firm in God's word.
Speaker B:Temptation is Temporary victory is eternal.
Speaker B:Satan may come at us, but he cannot win against the truth of Scripture.
Speaker B:And your victory starts now.
Speaker B:The enemy will always look for an opportune time to strike, just as he did with Jesus in Luke 4:13.
Speaker B:That's the nature of war, spiritual as well as natural.
Speaker B:But you do not have to live in fear.
Speaker B:You have the same weapon available to you that Jesus used, the living, powerful word of God.
Speaker B:You don't have to fight the enemy with willpower.
Speaker B:You don't have to try and outthink him.
Speaker B:You just need to speak what Jesus said.
Speaker B:When life gets hard, speak his words.
Speaker B:When temptation comes, speak his words.
Speaker B:When the devil whispers lies, speak his words.
Speaker B:And just as Jesus overcame, so will you.
Speaker B:That's how we win.
Speaker B:That's how we stand strong.
Speaker B:This is how we walk in victory.
Speaker B:The red letter words of Jesus are not just history.
Speaker B:They're your battle plan.
Speaker B:They're your defense.
Speaker B:They're your pathway to victory.
Speaker B:So speak them, Live by them.
Speaker B:Watch the enemies flee from before you.
Speaker B:If you've never accepted Jesus as your Lord, if you'd like to make sure that you are a child of the living God with Jesus as your Savior, pray this prayer with me right now.
Speaker B:Father, in Jesus name I come before your throne of grace and mercy this day.
Speaker B:Thanking you, praising you for the victory Jesus achieved.
Speaker B:Jesus, I thank you for loving me so much.
Speaker B:You died on that cross to remove my sin from me.
Speaker B:And I ask you right now, Lord, come into my heart.
Speaker B:Come into my heart.
Speaker B:Create in me this new man, one that loves God and one that loves you.
Speaker B:Fill me with your holy spirit.
Speaker B:Oh Jesus, I thank you so much for loving me that much.
Speaker B:Lord, help me to walk for you.
Speaker B:Help me to study your Word.
Speaker B:Minister to me through your word and I just praise you for this victory.
Speaker B:Victory in Jesus, my Savior forever.
Speaker B:I give you Father, all honor, glory and praise in Jesus name.
Speaker C:Amen and Amen.
Speaker B:Praise God.
Speaker B:If you prayed that prayer, email me@Brother BobTFM.org because we want to rejoice with you in that.
Speaker B:Amen.
Speaker B:Now you just seen the power of the red letter words of Jesus.
Speaker B:How they defeated the enemy in the wilderness and how they still give us victory today.
Speaker B:Now imagine what could happen if people all over the world had access to the only the words of Jesus.
Speaker B:Free from distraction, free from commentary, just his words speaking directly into their lives.
Speaker B:Well folks, that's exactly what this book does.
Speaker C:Amen.
Speaker B:And we have a project going on right now called a book project for the.
Speaker B:What the.
Speaker B:What did Jesus say book Project.
Speaker B:Project.
Speaker B:This powerful book, folks, contains only the red letter words of Jesus.
Speaker C:Amen.
Speaker B:No commentary.
Speaker B:Nothing added, nothing taken away.
Speaker B:And it's already changing lives all across the world.
Speaker B:We're receiving testimonies from people in Africa, South America and beyond.

Speaker B:Now you can help us get the word out on an even larger scale.
Speaker B:Amen.
Speaker B:We need to raise $50,000 to distribute this book across the globe to missionaries, churches and people in desperate need of the truth.
Speaker B:And it may seem like a huge goal, but God is more than able.
Speaker B:Will you help us to get this word out like never before?
Speaker B:Every dollar you give goes directly towards printing and distributing these books.
Speaker B:No distractions, no commentary, just Jesus.
