Teaching you how to receive the blessings and provisions of God and how to walk through this life with Freedom through faith.

Speaker A:

And now, here's Pastor Robert Thibodeau.

Speaker B:

Hello everyone, everywhere.

Speaker B:

Pastor Bob Thibodeau here.

Speaker B:

Welcome to Freedom through Faith.

Speaker B:

Glory to God.

Speaker B:

We are so blessed that you're joining us today.

Speaker B:

It is a blessing each and every time we get together around the word of God.

Speaker B:

And I am looking forward to today's Bible study.

Speaker B:

Amen.

Speaker B:

Praise God.

Speaker B:

You know, when we start, when we started looking at these red letter words, my.

Speaker B:

My excitement just keeps getting bigger and bigger every time we do another one of these studies.

Speaker B:

Amen.

Speaker B:

It is such a blessing to just imagine you're sitting at the feet of Jesus and he's teaching you these things.

Speaker B:

You're hearing it as he was sharing it with the disciples.

Speaker B:

That's how you got to imagine this setting.

Speaker B:

Amen.

Speaker B:

Before we get started, let's go to Lord with a word of prayer.

Speaker B:

And we will jump right into today's Bible study.

Speaker B:

I don't want to waste any time.

Speaker B:

We got a lot of stuff to cover today.

Speaker B:

Father, in the name of Jesus, we thank you for the privilege of being in the body of Christ.

Speaker B:

We thank you for the blessing of being able to study the words of Jesus.

Speaker B:

Words that you sent him into this earth to deliver.

Speaker B:

Father, we thank you for that blessing.

Speaker B:

And we pray now that through your Holy Spirit you would lead, guide and direct this conversation.

Speaker B:

And to you we give all honor, glory and praise in Jesus name.

Speaker B:

Amen.

Speaker B:

Amen.

Speaker B:

Join me in our profession of faith is commonly referred to as the Lord's Prayer.

Speaker B:

We switch that up after all those years.

Speaker B:

Amen.

Speaker B:

Just repeat after me.

Speaker B:

Because faith comes by hearing, hearing by the word of God.

Speaker B:

And it is so important that your two ears hear your own voice.

Speaker B:

Say these words out loud.

Speaker B:

Amen.

Speaker B:

Just repeat after me.

Speaker B:

Our Father who art in heaven, Holy be thy name.

Speaker B:

Thy kingdom come, Thine will be done in this earth as it's done in heaven.

Speaker B:

Give us this day our daily bread.

Speaker B:

Forgive us of our sins as we forgive those who sin against us.

Speaker B:

And lead us not into temptation, but deliver us from all evil.

Speaker B:

For yours is the kingdom, the power and the glory forever in Jesus name.

Speaker B:

Amen And Amen.

Speaker B:

Praise God.

Speaker B:

Got your Bibles?

Speaker B:

Get them out.

Speaker B:

Because we're going to jump into this now.

Speaker B:

Before we dive into today's message, I. I need to tell you why we're even here.

Speaker B:

Okay.

Speaker B:

I've been preaching and teaching for over 30 years now.

Speaker B:

I just happened to be in the right place at the right, we'll call it divine time and found myself, look back at this.

Speaker B:

I found myself sharing the platform, am preaching with ministers of the gospel that, you know, if I start dropping names, you'd probably recognize many of them.

Speaker B:

Amen.

Speaker B:

I mean, I have preached and this is no exaggeration, I have literally preached in hundreds of churches across America.

Speaker B:

I've preached in convention centers, auditoriums, arenas large and small for crowds that range from 60 to 600, up to 6,000 in attendance at one event.

Speaker B:

I've had backstage access to many big name preachers at their own events, special seating, all that.

Speaker B:

I've shared lunch and dinners with many of them.

Speaker B:

I've had personal phone numbers of some of them.

Speaker B:

The impact all of that had on my life when I was in my, we'll call it, my fledgling years of ministry impacted me in ways that honestly are still apparent today.

Speaker B:

Praise God.

Speaker B:

But why am I sharing all of this?

Speaker B:

Because this book, what Did Jesus say?

Speaker B:

Seven Messages from the Master completely shifted the direction of my ministry in ways that I could never have dreamed possible.

Speaker B:

Okay.

Speaker B:

I've been preaching and teaching this for over 30 years.

Speaker B:

Standing behind pulpits, working through radio shows, hosting podcasts, appearing on podcasts.

Speaker B:

I even was personally invited to be the executive producer of a television program program for one of those celebrity ministries on the daystar Network.

Speaker B:

And those were the influencers in my Life for about 10 years, way back then.

Speaker B:

But when I came across this book, the Holy Spirit shook me and spoke to me in a way that was undeniable.

Speaker B:

This was the thing I am called to preach.

Speaker B:

Amen.

Speaker B:

It matches my initial calling into the ministry.

Speaker B:

It matches my personality.

Speaker B:

It matches my God given desire.

Speaker B:

I mean, it checks every single block I can think of, think of when it comes to the, you know, what, when, how and why of ministry.

Speaker B:

Amen.

Speaker B:

You see, through this book, the revelation from the Holy Spirit, I realized something, something was missing.

Speaker B:

I wasn't missing Jesus, but I was missing the focus on his actual words, the red letter words.

Speaker B:

No, not the opinions about him, not theological commentaries about him, but what Jesus himself said.

Speaker B:

And that's why I partnered with Reverend Terry, a Christian, to help him promote his book and to create and manage his podcast for him.

Speaker B:

Amen.

Speaker B:

To help take this message to the world.

Speaker B:

Praise God.

Speaker B:

And that's when the Lord put it in my heart that I need to walk through these seven messages straight from the mouth of the Master and bring them to you.

Speaker B:

And that's why we're doing this series.

Speaker B:

Not because I want to add my own spin on things, not because I want to show off all my study notes, but because I believe these messages truly have the power to change your life, just like they changed mine.

Speaker B:

Amen.

Speaker B:

Now, with that being said, today we're going to step into message two, the Father and the Son.

Speaker B:

Now, folks, this is not just theology.

Speaker B:

This is the heart of heaven on display.

Speaker B:

Jesus pulls back the curtain and shows us his relationship with the Holy Father, the One who sent him, the one he obeys, and the one he glorifies.

Speaker B:

This message today is going to open your eyes to the depths of the Father's love.

Speaker B:

This message will show you why Jesus laid down his life.

Speaker B:

Not because he was forced to, not out of guilt, but out of love and obedience.

Speaker B:

And I. I want you to hear this message the way the Lord shook me with it, basically.

Speaker B:

Amen.

Speaker B:

I want you to imagine with me now.

Speaker B:

You're sitting there, it's evening, sun's going down, may already be it's already dark, but you can still see the outline of the.

Speaker B:

The sun on the horizon.

Speaker B:

And you're sitting there with the disciples, maybe around a little campfire.

Speaker B:

And you're looking right into the eyes of Jesus.

Speaker B:

You feel his love, the passion, the authority of his voice.

Speaker B:

Because here's the truth.

Speaker B:

Jesus is still speaking to us today.

Speaker B:

Amen.

Speaker B:

These red letter words are alive.

Speaker B:

And if you open your heart and let them sink in, they'll change your life just like they changed mine.

Speaker B:

Amen.

Speaker B:

So buckle up, because we're about to walk into one of the most powerful truths in all of scripture.

Speaker B:

Let's hear what Jesus has to say about the Father and the Son.

Speaker B:

Okay?

Speaker B:

You're gonna hear Jesus as he declares his origin.

Speaker B:

So I said, picture this scenario.

Speaker B:

Now, the disciples, you, Jesus, sitting around that campfire at the end of the day when all you're watching Jesus and all of a sudden this weird look comes upon the face of Jesus.

Speaker B:

The disciples notice it.

Speaker B:

They've seen that look before.

Speaker B:

He's about to say something great.

Speaker B:

Jesus picks up a stick, maybe stirs the fire a little bit and begins to speak.

Speaker B:

He says, I want to share something with you boys.

Speaker B:

Something important that you really, really need to understand.

Speaker B:

I want to talk to you about my Father.

Speaker B:

Okay, now turn with me over to John chapter 16.

Speaker B:

That's where we're going to start at today, John, chapter 16.

Speaker B:

Praise the Lord.

Speaker B:

And we'll look at verse 28.

Speaker B:

I came forth from the Father and I have come into the world again.

Speaker B:

I will leave the world and go back to the Father.

Speaker B:

Now folks, that's not small talk right there.

Speaker B:

That is a declaration of where he came from and where he is about to return to and from where he will be coming back to to us again from very soon.

Speaker B:

Amen.

Speaker B:

If you're anything like me, you hear that and you say yes, Amen.

Speaker B:

Glory to God.

Speaker B:

That changes everything.

Speaker B:

Why?

Speaker B:

Well one, because it does change everything.

Speaker B:

Amen.

Speaker B:

It means that when Jesus speaks, you need to lean in a little bit and listen.

Speaker B:

When Jesus makes a promise, we can stand on it.

Speaker B:

When Jesus says no one comes to the Father but through me, John 14, six, he's not offering just one of many options, he's declaring the only way to eternal life.

Speaker B:

Folks, right from the very start, Jesus makes it very clear he's not from here.

Speaker B:

John 3:13, he says no one has ascended to heaven but he who came down from heaven, that is the Son of man who's in heaven.

Speaker B:

I mean that, that's a bold statement.

Speaker B:

He's standing on the earth talking face to face with people, but he's telling them plainly, I'm not from here, I came from above.

Speaker B:

This isn't the language of a teacher passing along good ideas to his students.

Speaker B:

This is the language of someone who has first hand knowledge about the Father's house.

Speaker B:

Jesus didn't read about heaven somewhere, he came from there.

Speaker B:

Think of it like this.

Speaker B:

Let's say a favorite relative of yours or a good friend of yours comes to visit and they start to tell you about their new house.

Speaker B:

I mean, you've never been there, but they describe it in such detail, such descriptive language that you can see it in your mind's eye.

Speaker B:

I mean, they lay out for you the front yard and the walkway that's lined with flowers that lead up to the four steps to the front porch.

Speaker B:

And there's how there's two double hung doors there that open inside inwards to the inside.

Speaker B:

And as you walk in, there's a 16 foot high entranceway with a chandelier hanging there.

Speaker B:

Beautiful.

Speaker B:

And then just to the right is a dark mahogany staircase that leads upstairs.

Speaker B:

Now, how many of you just seen what I described?

Speaker B:

In your mind's eye, you were visualizing, you could actually see it, right?

Speaker B:

And if you went to the visit, the house you got out of the car, you'd be Walking up that pathway.

Speaker B:

You'd remember that.

Speaker B:

Look at these flights.

Speaker B:

Yeah, yeah.

Speaker B:

And, and how many steps were there?

Speaker B:

4.

Speaker B:

And where did it lead to?

Speaker B:

To a porch.

Speaker B:

What kind of doors?

Speaker B:

Screen doors?

Speaker B:

Sliding doors?

Speaker B:

No.

Speaker B:

Double hung doors.

Speaker B:

Were they open to the inside?

Speaker B:

And as you walk in, what are you seeing?

Speaker B:

You know, how high was that entrance?

Speaker B:

High.

Speaker B:

16ft.

Speaker B:

And a chandelier.

Speaker B:

And what's on the right?

Speaker B:

Those staircases.

Speaker B:

You know, all of this was in your mind's eye as real as if you were standing right there.

Speaker B:

Right.

Speaker B:

Well, that's what Jesus is doing here for the disciples and for us right now.

Speaker B:

We're talking about.

Speaker B:

He's speaking to us as well.

Speaker B:

Then he gives us incredible picture that I want you to see.

Speaker B:

John, chapter three, verse 14 and 15.

Speaker B:

Let's turn over there.

Speaker B:

John, chapter three, verse fourteen and fifteen.

Speaker B:

Hallelujah.

Speaker B:

And as Moses lifted up the serpent in the wilderness, even so the Son of Man which is in heaven.

Speaker B:

I'm sorry, the Son of Man must be lifted up.

Speaker B:

That whosoever believes in him should not perish, but have eternal life.

Speaker B:

Now folks, you've got to understand what that meant to his Jewish listeners.

Speaker B:

They knew the story from Numbers 21.

Speaker B:

When the Israelites were dying from all the snake bites, God told Moses to do what?

Speaker B:

Make a bronze serpent.

Speaker B:

Put it on a cross stick and hang it up, lift it up.

Speaker B:

And anyone who was bitten, if they looked at that, that cross would live.

Speaker B:

And Jesus is telling them, I'm the one who's going to be lifted up.

Speaker B:

I'm the one you need to look to.

Speaker B:

I'm the one who brings life.

Speaker B:

And then he drops One of the most quoted, most beloved verses in the all the Bible.

Speaker B:

Almost every young child from about the age of 7 or 8 up to adults know John 3:16.

Speaker B:

Say it with me.

Speaker B:

For God so loved the world that what he gave his only begotten Son, that whoever believes in him should not perish.

Speaker B:

But have what?

Speaker B:

Everlasting life.

Speaker B:

And since we're talking about the Father, let's insert Father into this scripture and watch what happens.

Speaker B:

Are you ready?

Speaker B:

Speak it.

Speaker B:

Say it with me.

Speaker B:

For the Father so loved the world that he, the Father gave the world the Father's only begotten Son, so that whoever believes in him, the Son, should not perish, but have everlasting life with the Father.

Speaker B:

Oh man.

Speaker B:

Shout Amen.

Speaker B:

Somebody somewhere.

Speaker B:

Folks, don't let familiarity rob you of the power here.

Speaker B:

This is the Son telling you why he came.

Speaker B:

God loved you so much.

Speaker B:

He gave me.

Speaker B:

Jesus said not to condemn you.

Speaker B:

Not to crush you, but to save you.

Speaker B:

Most people will just.

Speaker B:

Most people just stop right there.

Speaker B:

If you took a poll and asked what the very next scripture was or next couple of verses, not many people will be able to tell you.

Speaker B:

But see, as you're reading your Bible, Jesus doesn't stop there.

Speaker B:

In John 3, verse 17 and 18, Jesus then says, for God did not send his Son into the world to condemn the world, but that the world, through him, the Son might be saved.

Speaker B:

For he who believes in him is not condemned, but he does not have.

Speaker B:

He who does not believe is condemned already.

Speaker B:

Oh man, that's heavy, folks.

Speaker B:

That's some heavy stuff right there.

Speaker B:

He's not telling us the dividing line is good works versus bad works.

Speaker B:

Oh, no, it's belief.

Speaker B:

It's faith.

Speaker B:

Do you believe in the one the Father sent?

Speaker B:

If you do, you step over into salvation.

Speaker B:

If you reject him, you don't believe, well, you remain under condemnation.

Speaker B:

It's as simple as that.

Speaker B:

When Jesus shines a light on why people resist him.

Speaker B:

John 3:19 and 20.

Speaker B:

Notice we're just continuing on.

Speaker B:

This is back at the setting here, around that campfire with Jesus.

Speaker B:

He's telling you this information.

Speaker B:

It just started, you know, John 3:16 and we're still, we're working our way down.

Speaker B:

Now we're in verse 19 and 20.

Speaker B:

This.

Speaker B:

He just said, if you don't believe you're under condemnation, you're still under condemnation.

Speaker B:

Now verse 19, this is the condemnation that you're still under.

Speaker B:

The light has come into the world and men love darkness rather than the light.

Speaker B:

Let me tell you something, folks.

Speaker B:

People who don't want to come to Jesus usually are not rejecting an argument or a philosophy.

Speaker B:

They're running away from the light.

Speaker B:

They don't want their deeds exposed.

Speaker B:

They don't want their lifestyles exposed.

Speaker B:

I mean, think about criminals.

Speaker B:

When do criminals usually operate?

Speaker B:

When do they usually try to break into houses or cars and things like that at night?

Speaker B:

Amen.

Speaker B:

And what is one of the best deterrence you can implement to protect your property?

Speaker B:

Leave a porch light on.

Speaker B:

Hey man, don't shut me down.

Speaker B:

I'm preaching.

Speaker B:

Good.

Speaker B:

Praise God.

Speaker B:

Forces of darkness and those that love the darkness hate the light because the light allows everyone to see their evil hearts.

Speaker B:

Amen.

Speaker B:

But Jesus gave a beautiful invitation.

Speaker B:

Continue.

Speaker B:

John 3:21.

Speaker B:

He who does the truth comes to the light, that his deeds may be clearly seen, that they have been done in God.

Speaker B:

Oh man, if you're doing right, you have no reason to hide.

Speaker B:

You can walk right into.

Speaker B:

Right into the light of Jesus Christ and say, lord, here I am.

Speaker B:

Praise God.

Speaker B:

So right here in his opening section, Jesus is laying it out.

Speaker B:

I'm from heaven.

Speaker B:

I'm sent by the Father, and I've come to save you, not to condemn you.

Speaker B:

And I'm inviting you to believe in me, to come into the light with me, to receive eternal life with the Father through me.

Speaker B:

Folks, you can't get a clearer starting point than that.

Speaker B:

Jesus wants you to know exactly who he is and why he's here.

Speaker B:

He's the Son of Almighty God, sent from heaven, holding out one offer, the offer of his life.

Speaker B:

And I don't know about you, when I hear that, I just want to lift my hands and say, thank you, Jesus.

Speaker B:

Glory to God.

Speaker B:

What a savior we have.

Speaker B:

Amen.

Speaker B:

Man, I gotta stop right there and get a sip of coffee.

Speaker B:

Praise you, Jesus.

Speaker B:

Hallelujah.

Speaker B:

All right, let's move on now.

Speaker B:

Let's look at the Father's love and the mission of the Son.

Speaker B:

Because, folks, if you want to understand the heart of Jesus, you gotta understand this.

Speaker B:

Everything he does flows out of the Father's love.

Speaker B:

Jesus in here, he's not here on his own agenda.

Speaker B:

He isn't freelancing here.

Speaker B:

He.

Speaker B:

He wasn't faking his way through ministry.

Speaker B:

He's here because the Father sent him.

Speaker B:

And the Father sent him out of love.

Speaker B:

If you turn over to Luke 9:23, Jesus says, if anyone.

Speaker B:

Anyone desires to come after me, he has to deny himself and take up the cross daily and follow me.

Speaker B:

That's not just a casual invite.

Speaker B:

That's a call to surrender.

Speaker B:

He goes on Luke 9:24, 25.

Speaker B:

For whoever desires to save his life will lose it.

Speaker B:

But whoever loses his life for my sake will save it.

Speaker B:

What does it profit a man if he gains the whole world and he himself has destroyed or lost?

Speaker B:

Let me tell you something, folks.

Speaker B:

The Father's love isn't about making you comfortable.

Speaker B:

No, it's about calling you into something that's.

Speaker B:

That's eternal.

Speaker B:

You can chase the world's success all day long, but if you missed this invitation from Jesus, you've missed it all.

Speaker B:

You missed everything.

Speaker B:

Listen to what Jesus says in Matthew 10, verse 32 and 33.

Speaker B:

Therefore, whoever confesses me before men, him I will also confess before my Father who is in heaven.

Speaker B:

But whoever denies me before men, him also I will deny before my Father who's in heaven.

Speaker B:

That.

Speaker B:

That.

Speaker B:

That's some serious business there.

Speaker B:

Jesus didn't talk about lip service here.

Speaker B:

He's talking about where you Stand when it counts.

Speaker B:

Will you stand with him?

Speaker B:

Will you confess him openly, even if it costs you something or everything?

Speaker B:

Even if it'll bring immediate condemnation at work, at school or wherever you're at?

Speaker B:

That's what he's looking for.

Speaker B:

Praise God.

Speaker B:

Amen.

Speaker B:

When we come to one of the.

Speaker B:

Then we come to one of the most beautiful revelations of the heart of Jesus.

Speaker B:

John 10, verse 17 and 18.

Speaker B:

He says, Therefore, my Father loves me because I am willing to lay down my life so that I can pick it back up again.

Speaker B:

No one takes it from me.

Speaker B:

I'm laying it down by myself.

Speaker B:

Folks, you got to hear this.

Speaker B:

Jesus was not a victim on that cross, okay?

Speaker B:

He was not overpowered by the Roman authorities.

Speaker B:

He wasn't trapped by Judas.

Speaker B:

Jesus chose to lay down his life out of the love for the Father and out of love for us.

Speaker B:

Oh, man, you missed a good place to shout Amen right there.

Speaker B:

There.

Speaker B:

Because that's what it's all about.

Speaker B:

Praise God.

Speaker B:

Hallelujah.

Speaker B:

And Jesus tells us plainly how this kind of love works.

Speaker B:

John 15, verse 9 and 10.

Speaker B:

As the Father loved me, I also have loved you.

Speaker B:

Abide or live in my love.

Speaker B:

If you keep my commandments, you will abide in my love.

Speaker B:

Now see, folks, love and obedience, they go hand in hand in this.

Speaker B:

You just can't talk about love and ignore the obedience.

Speaker B:

We can't just talk about obedience without knowing that it's rooted in love.

Speaker B:

Jesus models both of them perfectly.

Speaker B:

Then he gives us the key in John 15, verse 11, and 14, or 11 to 14.

Speaker B:

These things I've spoken to you so that my joy may remain in you, and that your joy may be full.

Speaker B:

This is my commandment.

Speaker B:

That you love one another as I have loved you.

Speaker B:

Folks, if you're wondering what the Father's love looks like, just look at Jesus.

Speaker B:

If you're wondering what Jesus love looks like, look at that cross.

Speaker B:

If you're wondering what your love should look like, look at how he loved you.

Speaker B:

Oh, man, I pray you're getting this.

Speaker B:

Praise God.

Speaker B:

There is no greater love than this.

Speaker B:

To lay down your life for your friends.

Speaker B:

And here's the kicker.

Speaker B:

Jesus calls you his friend if you do what he tells you to do.

Speaker B:

That's not religion, folks.

Speaker B:

That's called relationship.

Speaker B:

Praise God.

Speaker B:

That's the heartbeat of the Father and the Son.

Speaker B:

Oh, man.

Speaker B:

All right, I gotta keep going here.

Speaker B:

We're gonna time run out on me again.

Speaker B:

Folks, here's where Jesus really leads in.

Speaker B:

Now, he says this to his disciples.

Speaker B:

I just remember, we're Sitting right there.

Speaker B:

That's where we're visualizing this as.

Speaker B:

And Jesus says, now listen closely to me.

Speaker B:

In Luke 6, he speaks with sharp clarity, pointing out how people can be so quick, quick to spot the speck in their brother's eye while ignoring the plank in their own eye.

Speaker B:

But he's just not making a moral point here.

Speaker B:

He's showing us that following him requires self examination.

Speaker B:

It requires humility and surrender.

Speaker B:

In Matthew:

Speaker B:

No one knows the Son except the Father, nor does anyone know the Father except the Son, and to the ones to whom the Son will reveal him.

Speaker B:

Oh man.

Speaker B:

Folks, did you catch that?

Speaker B:

You can't just figure out God on your own.

Speaker B:

You cannot reason your way to heaven and to the Father.

Speaker B:

You need Jesus to reveal him to you.

Speaker B:

That's why.

Speaker B:

John 6:44, I think it is Jesus.

Speaker B:

No one, nobody can come to me unless the Father who sent me draws him, and then I will raise him up at the last day.

Speaker B:

Glory to God.

Speaker B:

If I wasn't stuck here in front of this camera right now, I'd run around this room 28, 25, 30 times shouting, Hallelujah.

Speaker B:

Dr. Bernard Johnson used to say, praise God.

Speaker B:

Hallelujah.

Speaker B:

I don't preach myself happy.

Speaker B:

Praise God.

Speaker B:

Folks, this is not some random wandering search for the truth.

Speaker B:

I pray you're starting to get an understanding of that.

Speaker B:

This is the Father pulling on your heart right now, drawing you to His Son, and the Son promising to hold you fast with him.

Speaker B:

Jesus keeps pressing this point, John 5, 19, 20, and most assuredly I say to you, the Son can do nothing by Himself, but whatever he sees the Father do, for whatever he does, the Son also does in like manner.

Speaker B:

Folks, we need to understand this kind of divine unity.

Speaker B:

Jesus is doing these miracles on his own.

Speaker B:

I mean, stop and think about it.

Speaker B:

We have examples here of people who have been healed by Jesus, right?

Speaker B:

We have examples of a group.

Speaker B:

We'll just use the 10 lepers.

Speaker B:

Only one came back to give praise.

Speaker B:

He says, where's the other nine?

Speaker B:

Right.

Speaker B:

The other 10, all 10, he said, be healed, only one was restored.

Speaker B:

Right?

Speaker B:

Amen.

Speaker B:

Go read it yourself.

Speaker B:

And that's the point.

Speaker B:

Yeah, they believe Jesus could heal him.

Speaker B:

He did.

Speaker B:

That's all they got.

Speaker B:

One came back to worship him.

Speaker B:

He said, your faith has made you whole.

Speaker B:

I mean, if he was missing any fingers or digits, you know, whatever the case, may his nose, what, all that was restored.

Speaker B:

He was whole.

Speaker B:

Nothing missing, nothing lacking.

Speaker B:

He was restored whole.

Speaker B:

Whole the others got their healing.

Speaker B:

They were no longer lepers, but they were still disfigured.

Speaker B:

This one got it all because he came back and worshiped Jesus and established a relationship with him.

Speaker B:

Think about that.

Speaker B:

Jesus is not teaching new doctrines here, doctrines that he made up along the way.

Speaker B:

He's showing us exactly what the Father is doing.

Speaker B:

He's revealing exactly who the Father is to us.

Speaker B:

And here's where it gets real serious.

Speaker B:

Are you ready for this?

Speaker B:

Huh?

Speaker B:

Are you truly ready?

Speaker B:

All right, turn over to John, chapter 5, John 5, verse 22 and 23.

Speaker B:

I want to take you right there.

Speaker B:

22 and 23.

Speaker B:

Praise the Lord for the Father judges no man.

Speaker B:

He just he.

Speaker B:

The Father doesn't judge anyone.

Speaker B:

He's committed all judgment to the Son.

Speaker B:

That all men should honor the Son even as they honor the Father.

Speaker B:

He that does not honor the Son does not honor the Father, which is seven.

Speaker B:

Think about that.

Speaker B:

God judges no one.

Speaker B:

He's committed all judgment to Jesus.

Speaker B:

Let me make it as plain as day for you here, alright?

Speaker B:

If you reject Jesus, you're rejecting the Father.

Speaker B:

Period.

Speaker B:

End of story.

Speaker B:

Go home.

Speaker B:

There's no more excuse for you.

Speaker B:

But if you honor Jesus, you're honoring the Father.

Speaker B:

Praise God.

Speaker B:

How simple can that be?

Speaker B:

Jesus just laid it out plainly for you.

Speaker B:

If you believe Jesus, you believe the Father.

Speaker B:

That goes hand in hand.

Speaker B:

If you reject Jesus, you're rejecting God as well.

Speaker B:

There's no middle growl, just.

Speaker B:

It just blows the argument somehow that, well, I don't believe in Jesus.

Speaker B:

He was just a good guy, a good man.

Speaker B:

But I do believe in God though, and I know I'm going to heaven one day.

Speaker B:

No, you're not.

Speaker B:

There's no sidestep in this.

Speaker B:

There's no middle ground.

Speaker B:

Jesus is the invitation.

Speaker B:

He is the door, the only door.

Speaker B:

He's the way, the connection point between heaven and earth.

Speaker B:

Here's the best part.

Speaker B:

He's inviting you today.

Speaker B:

He's not just calling the super spiritual or the already perfect.

Speaker B:

No, he's calling you right where you are right now, as you are in the rotten here and now.

Speaker B:

That's the invitation that's on the table.

Speaker B:

And folks, when Jesus offers an invitation, it's not something you want to push aside or delay.

Speaker B:

I'll get to it later.

Speaker B:

Thank you for the invitation, for saving my life.

Speaker B:

I'll get to that later.

Speaker B:

No, this is your moment to step into that light, to step into that life, to step into the Father's love.

Speaker B:

And continuing on in the few minutes we have left here, folks, if there Is one thing Jesus makes crystal clear is this.

Speaker B:

He has love, authority, and power.

Speaker B:

John 14, verse 6.

Speaker B:

He says, I am the way, the truth, and the life.

Speaker B:

Nobody comes to the Father unless they come through me.

Speaker B:

I've never had the opportunity to go to the White House and meet with the President of the United States.

Speaker B:

I've known several ministers that have, and they all tell me the same thing, you know, you get to the gate outside, if your name's not on the list, you ain't getting through the gate, period.

Speaker B:

All right, Once you get through that gate, you go to the first entrance way into the White House, and you get searched and metal detected and all this other stuff.

Speaker B:

Leave your personal effects in a locker and all that, and then you get to the next spot, which is an outer office.

Speaker B:

Then someone will come get you.

Speaker B:

And they take you in to the Outer office of the Oval Office, the President's office, and there's the Gatekeeper, who allows people in and out of the Oval Office.

Speaker B:

And finally, if you made it through all that, you can walk into the Oval Office and meet the President.

Speaker B:

But there is a Gatekeeper.

Speaker B:

You may have made it through security because somebody had your name down on a list.

Speaker B:

You didn't have any weapons on you.

Speaker B:

So you make it through that next level, and now you're in the waiting area, and they tell the Gatekeeper, personal assistant to the President that you're there.

Speaker B:

Like, what's he want?

Speaker B:

Why is he here?

Speaker B:

And if you ain't on that list, you ain't getting in.

Speaker B:

If your name is on that list and the President still has time, then they'll send someone to get you and bring you over there.

Speaker B:

And then they're going to give you one more once over.

Speaker B:

You may have thought you had 15 minutes with the president.

Speaker B:

Okay, you got four minutes.

Speaker B:

By the time you walk in, four minutes, we're coming to get you.

Speaker B:

Because he's got to go to another meeting.

Speaker B:

Now.

Speaker B:

Don't try and take five.

Speaker B:

Is not going to happen.

Speaker B:

Yeah, it's that serious, folks.

Speaker B:

And Jesus is laying this out for us the same way.

Speaker B:

I am the door.

Speaker B:

Nobody gets to the Father unless they go through me.

Speaker B:

It's not a suggestion.

Speaker B:

It's just not good advice.

Speaker B:

It's the truth.

Speaker B:

It's the way it is.

Speaker B:

It's the way it operates.

Speaker B:

And there are no exceptions.

Speaker B:

John 11, 25, 26.

Speaker B:

Jesus gives one of the most powerful declarations ever spoken.

Speaker B:

He says, I am the resurrection and the life.

Speaker B:

He who believes in me, though he may die, yet he shall live.

Speaker B:

And whoever lives and believes in me, they'll never die.

Speaker B:

Oh, this body may die, but boom, you're immediately in his presence, folks.

Speaker B:

You can't get a stronger promise than that.

Speaker B:

Jesus is saying that through him, you will step immediately over into eternal life.

Speaker B:

Not someday.

Speaker B:

Right now.

Speaker B:

Now, maybe this is a guarantee.

Speaker B:

And then he takes it even further.

Speaker B:

In John:

Speaker B:

And even greater works than these he shall do, because I'm going to my Father.

Speaker B:

Oh, man.

Speaker B:

Oh, Jesus.

Speaker B:

Hallelujah.

Speaker B:

Did you catch that?

Speaker B:

I know this is hard for some people to believe, but I'm telling you, I've walked in this.

Speaker B:

Jesus isn't telling you to admire Him.

Speaker B:

He's empowering you to walk in his works.

Speaker B:

He said, you see me doing this, you're with me.

Speaker B:

You can do it too.

Speaker B:

Amen.

Speaker B:

But then he goes one step further.

Speaker B:

He says, not just the things I did, you're going to do even greater works than this because I'm going to my Father.

Speaker B:

And when your prayers reach me and I look down and say, God, oh, yeah, we need to do this.

Speaker B:

Don't look at me at that tone of voice.

Speaker B:

Praise God.

Speaker B:

Hallelujah.

Speaker B:

Jesus isn't telling you to admire Him.

Speaker B:

He's empowering you to.

Speaker B:

To walk in his works.

Speaker B:

He's saying, when you ask for something in My name, when you stand in faith, when you align yourself with the Father's will, you will see heaven move in your behalf.

Speaker B:

Amen.

Speaker B:

That's powerful.

Speaker B:

John 6:37, he he promises, all the Father gives me will come to me.

Speaker B:

And the ones who come to me, I will in no way cast out folks.

Speaker B:

That means no one gets turned away.

Speaker B:

You come to Jesus.

Speaker B:

He receives you.

Speaker B:

You believe in Him.

Speaker B:

He holds on to you.

Speaker B:

You trust in Him.

Speaker B:

He raises you up at that last day.

Speaker B:

That's the way it works.

Speaker B:

Amen.

Speaker B:

John 4:44, 47 shows us his power over sickness and distance.

Speaker B:

A man's Son is healed because of his faith in Jesus's word.

Speaker B:

Jesus didn't even need to be in the same room.

Speaker B:

Amen.

Speaker B:

His authority works across time, space, and circumstances at all distances.

Speaker B:

And then John 5, 26, 30, Jesus tells us about judgment and resurrection.

Speaker B:

Says, for as the Father has life in himself, so has the Son granted.

Speaker B:

So God has granted the Son to have life in himself and has given him the authority to execute judgment.

Speaker B:

That means when you stand before God, you're standing before the one who knows you, the One who died for you, the one who offers you life.

Speaker B:

Jesus holds the key to life, death, resurrection and judgment.

Speaker B:

And here's a beautiful part.

Speaker B:

He's looking for worshipers.

Speaker B:

John 4.

Speaker B:

23.

Speaker B:

He says the hours coming and now is when true worshipers will worship the Father in spirit and in truth.

Speaker B:

That's not about these rituals that some churches use.

Speaker B:

That's not about performance that some people will judge you by.

Speaker B:

It's about heart to heart connection.

Speaker B:

The spirit of God calling to the spirit of man.

Speaker B:

That's what Jesus came to give us.

Speaker B:

It's not about rituals, it's not about performance.

Speaker B:

It's about heart to heart connection.

Speaker B:

The spirit of God calling to the spirit of man, to your spirit.

Speaker B:

That's what Jesus came to give us.

Speaker B:

Folks, when you see this.

Speaker B:

Oh man.

Speaker B:

When you see this, when you understand the depth of his authority, the reach of his power, the beauty of his promises, you can't help but praise Him.

Speaker B:

Amen.

Speaker B:

You can't help but say, thank you, Jesus, for making a way for me to know the Father like that.

Speaker B:

Oh man.

Speaker B:

All right, folks, let's start wrapping this up by bringing it right to your heart.

Speaker B:

Jesus has been showing us all through this message the intimate, powerful connection between himself and the Father.

Speaker B:

He's not just some good man or a wise teacher.

Speaker B:

He's the very Son of God, sent on purpose, carrying authority and offering eternal life.

Speaker B:

You turn over to John 16, verse 28.

Speaker B:

Amen.

Speaker B:

John 16.

Speaker B:

Let's turn over there.

Speaker B:

Turn over there.

Speaker B:

You got your Bible, so you don't have your Bible.

Speaker B:

Shame on you.

Speaker B:

16, verse 28.

Speaker B:

Where are you?

Speaker B:

Where are you?

Speaker B:

Okay, gotcha.

Speaker B:

I came forth from the Father and I've come into this world again.

Speaker B:

I'm leaving the world and going back to the Father.

Speaker B:

Amen.

Speaker B:

Jesus came with a mission.

Speaker B:

That mission was for you.

Speaker B:

For you.

Speaker B:

Not just the crowds, not just the nations.

Speaker B:

He came for you personally.

Speaker B:

He's calling you to believe.

Speaker B:

He's not calling the United States to believe or wherever country.

Speaker B:

He's calling you to believe.

Speaker B:

He's calling you to follow him.

Speaker B:

He's calling you to abide in his love.

Speaker B:

Folks, let me tell you, when the Son of God invites you, you can't be waiting around.

Speaker B:

You can't say, well, maybe tomorrow.

Speaker B:

You can't say, well, let me get my life cleaned up first.

Speaker B:

It's impossible for you to get your life cleaned up without him.

Speaker B:

He's not asking you to get your life cleaned up.

Speaker B:

He's not asking you to change anything.

Speaker B:

He wants you to Come to him just as you are right now.

Speaker B:

Today I remember my wife and I went to a couple Billy Graham crusades.

Speaker B:

Billy Graham's theme song at the end was just as you are.

Speaker B:

Right, Just as you are.

Speaker B:

Without one plea or just as I am.

Speaker B:

I guess it was right.

Speaker B:

You don't have to clean yourself.

Speaker B:

You come just as you are.

Speaker B:

Just as I am.

Speaker B:

Just as you are.

Speaker B:

Amen.

Speaker B:

John 6, chapter 6, verse 44, says, no one can come to me unless the Father who sent me draws him, and then I will raise that person up at the last day.

Speaker B:

If you're feeling that tug on your heart today, that's the Father drawing you, that's the Holy Spirit inviting you.

Speaker B:

Do not ignore it.

Speaker B:

Jesus makes it plain in John, chapter 14, verse 6.

Speaker B:

He says, I'm the way, I am the truth and I am the life.

Speaker B:

No one comes to the Father but through me.

Speaker B:

There is no other road.

Speaker B:

There is no other path to heaven.

Speaker B:

There is no shortcut you can take.

Speaker B:

There is no workaround to this situation.

Speaker B:

It's all Jesus or it's all nothing.

Speaker B:

There's no in between.

Speaker B:

That's some scary stuff.

Speaker B:

For those who are wishy washy on this, trying to play both sides against the middle, I believe we've proven here today, it's all or nothing with Jesus.

Speaker B:

Amen.

Speaker B:

Oh, man.

Speaker B:

But the beauty when you say yes, because he promises you'll be raised up at the last day, you'll be counted as his friend.

Speaker B:

You walk in the love of the Father.

Speaker B:

You'll worship in spirit and truth.

Speaker B:

You'll be able to do things that you haven't been able to do ever.

Speaker B:

Holy Spirit, put this in my thought process right now.

Speaker B:

Remember the man at the beautiful gate?

Speaker B:

Peter, James and apostles were walking in to worship in the temple.

Speaker B:

And as they're walking by, scripture says, this man looked at that.

Speaker B:

Well, he couldn't see, but he.

Speaker B:

Oh yeah, he could see.

Speaker B:

He was lame.

Speaker B:

Lame from birth.

Speaker B:

Never walked.

Speaker B:

And he looked at them expecting something.

Speaker B:

Now, out of all the people going through that gate, why would he look at them expecting something?

Speaker B:

Because they've walked through that gate with Jesus countless, untold, countless times.

Speaker B:

But Jesus never healed that boy.

Speaker B:

I mean, out of all the people Jesus healed.

Speaker B:

We never hear about him, stop and say, I want to heal you.

Speaker B:

Get up.

Speaker B:

I can't.

Speaker B:

I can't walk.

Speaker B:

No, Jesus never healed him.

Speaker B:

He just walked right past.

Speaker B:

Probably told him give him something and walked on in.

Speaker B:

Why?

Speaker B:

Why would Jesus let him sit there like that?

Speaker B:

We could theory.

Speaker B:

We theorize on this stuff.

Speaker B:

But let's just give a couple of possibilities.

Speaker B:

One, his faith wasn't built up yet.

Speaker B:

He's just seeing them as more people that can he can get offerings from.

Speaker B:

Two, he probably never even asked Jesus to heal him.

Speaker B:

Three, Jesus needed his disciples to do that as a confirmation.

Speaker B:

They just didn't know it yet.

Speaker B:

And now after Jesus is right, the resurrection word has spread.

Speaker B:

They know the disciples are preaching, Jesus is alive.

Speaker B:

They're doing miracles of healings and all this other stuff.

Speaker B:

Now this guy's faith, he said, man, I, I seen this Jesus guy walked past me all them time.

Speaker B:

I never asked him to heal me.

Speaker B:

Oh man.

Speaker B:

And here he sees the disciples coming.

Speaker B:

They look at them expectantly catching this.

Speaker B:

Now expectantly, he's expecting something.

Speaker B:

That's when Peter said, you know, I don't got any money to give you.

Speaker B:

What I do give you, I'm going to give you right now.

Speaker B:

In the name of Jesus, rise up and walk.

Speaker B:

And it says he jumped to his feet, leaped in the air, started praising God.

Speaker B:

Amen.

Speaker B:

He got it, folks.

Speaker B:

That's why Jesus said, the same works I do, you'll do also.

Speaker B:

And even greater works than these shall you do.

Speaker B:

And I can tell you, I've personal, just my personal testimony.

Speaker B:

I can't even count on both hands how many people I've prayed for and they received healing over the years.

Speaker B:

I mean, it's just.

Speaker B:

And that's not Pastor Bob.

Speaker B:

No, I deny all that.

Speaker B:

It's Jesus.

Speaker B:

I was just a vessel he used to lay hands on him at that time.

Speaker B:

That's exciting that the same works Jesus did, we'll do also, and even greater works than he did will do also.

Speaker B:

I can tell you personally the moment I lean fully into these red letter words of Jesus.

Speaker B:

Isn't it neat?

Speaker B:

The Bible is all red letters here, folks.

Speaker B:

Amen.

Speaker B:

When I lean into that, my ministry changed.

Speaker B:

My faith deepened, my joy multiplied.

Speaker B:

Amen.

Speaker B:

I believe that can happen for you today, starting today.

Speaker B:

Here's the call.

Speaker B:

Will you confess him before other people?

Speaker B:

Will you deny yourself and take up your cross and follow him?

Speaker B:

Will you trust the Holy Spirit and the Son to lead you to the Holy Father?

Speaker B:

If you've never made that decision, I got good news for you.

Speaker B:

Today's the day right now where you are.

Speaker B:

Just pray this with me right now.

Speaker B:

Just say, lord Jesus, I believe you are the Son of God.

Speaker B:

I believe you came from the Father and died for my sins.

Speaker B:

I believe that you raised up from the dead and ascended up into heaven.

Speaker B:

And I believe you are Sitting down right now at the right hand of the Father Almighty.

Speaker B:

I believe that you hear my prayers right now.

Speaker B:

I ask you, Jesus, today, I want you to be my Lord and my Savior.

Speaker B:

I want you to lead me.

Speaker B:

I want you to fill me.

Speaker B:

I want you to make me new right now.

Speaker B:

I want to have your spirit dwell in me.

Speaker B:

I thank you, Father, for Jesus.

Speaker B:

I thank you, Jesus, for doing this for me.

Speaker B:

And I thank you, Lord, right now that my old self has died and that I am filled with a new being created in your image.

Speaker B:

You reside in me right now.

Speaker B:

And from this moment forward forth, I serve you.

Speaker B:

Oh, praise God.

Speaker B:

Praise God.

Speaker B:

Shout Amen.

Speaker B:

Somebody somewhere Praise God.

Speaker B:

Folks, if you just prayed that heaven is rejoicing right now and so am I.

Speaker B:

Praise God.

Speaker B:

Hallelujah.

Speaker B:

Welcome into the family of God.

Speaker B:

Amen.

Speaker B:

Praise God.

Speaker B:

Let's continue walking through this process together, one message at a time.

Speaker B:

As we go through these seven messages of the Master, as we listen to what Jesus says, what he's teaching us, because his words, they change everything.

Speaker B:

Folks, before we close here, in these last couple of minutes we have, I want to share something important from my heart.

Speaker B:

You just heard message number two.

Speaker B:

The Father and the Son.

Speaker B:

And here's the truth.

Speaker B:

This message is not meant to stop here with you and me.

Speaker B:

This message is meant to go out into the world.

Speaker B:

This message is meant to reach people across nations, across languages, across every barrier so they can hear what Jesus said, too.

Speaker B:

Amen.

Speaker B:

And that's why I've partnered with Reverend Terry, a Christian, and we're taking what did Jesus say?

Speaker B:

The seven messages from the Master.

Speaker B:

Profile picture for Robert Thibodeau

Robert Thibodeau

I am a 12 year Army veteran as both enlisted and as a commissioned Cavalry Officer.
I am now a retired law enforcement supervisor...

I had my own business for seven years before I entered law enforcement.

As a cop, I was injured on the job on May 12, 2007 and after several surgeries over a couple of years, forced to retire in 2011.

As I was looking down the road to “what am I going to do next?” I started what is now known as a podcast (I had no clue at the time).

Within six months of starting (what I called) “My online radio program” I was offered an opportunity to be on nationwide AM radio. I learned A LOT in one year of doing that!

I then started the online Christian radio platform "Evangelism Radio" in the fall of 2010. It has had listeners in 160+ nations and all 50 states. We host 50+ Christian broadcasters on a weekly basis. We have been operating 24/7 for almost 14 years now. We have been rated #1 in the world by Shoutcast. com on several occasions in our genre. We recently transferred ownership of Evangelism Radio to another ministry so I could concentrate full time on podcasting, preaching and writing.

In 2018, I started the Kingdom Cross Roads Podcast to conduct interviews with Christian influencers from all walks of life and to play their interviews on the radio station. (The KCR Podcast has its own time slot on Evangelism Radio)!
We now have over 1600 episodes and almost 1100 interviews (in just over 6 years).

Looking out at the future of online Christian media, I noticed there was no viable platforms that catered only to the Christian podcast market.

In 2023, we launched a networking platform called, "FaithCasters" which connects "Great Christian podcasters with Great Christian Guests!" This helps to promote the work you do through podcast interviews! Check it out at https://FaithCaster.org

We recently launched "FaithCaster Academy" which serves as a training hub for ALL of our trainings (podcast training / speaker training / interview training, etc.). Members receive access to ALL of our training programs for one low, monthly membership fee. Members also receive FREE access to ALL of the LIVE trainings I conduct (1 or 2 per month) - while non-members have to pay to access the live trainings.

Between my podcast training program, conducting podcast interviews, appearing on other podcasts as guests, speaking at conferences (in person and virtually) and the podcast networking platform, I guess you could say “I’m all in” when it comes to podcasting and online media!

My total focus is to do all we can to assist you to “Get The Word Out” about your mission, services, products, ministry, books, business, etc.
