Welcome to Freedom Through Faith.
Speaker A:Prepare to be blessed.
Speaker A:As pastor and teacher, Robert Thibodeau leads us into the anointed study of the Word of God, teaching and empowering you how to impact your world with the gospel of Jesus Christ, teaching you how to receive the blessings and provisions of God and how to walk through this life with freedom through faith.
Speaker A:And now, here's Pastor Robert Thibodeau.
Speaker B:Hello, everyone, everywhere.
Speaker B:Pastor Bob Thibodeau here.
Speaker C:Welcome to Freedom Through Faith.
Speaker B:Glory to God.
Speaker C:We're so blessed you're joining us here today.
Speaker C:It's a blessing.
Speaker C:Every time we gather together around the word of God.
Speaker C:You never know what Jesus is gonna do next when we get together.
Speaker C:Amen.
Speaker C:Sometimes we go right down by the outline and sometimes we go off on a tangent I did not even see coming.
Speaker C:But at all times we lift up his name because he's the one that leads, guides and directs this conversation today.
Speaker C:Amen.
Speaker C:Let's go to Lord with a word of prayer.
Speaker C:We will jump right into today's Bible study.
Speaker C:Heavenly Father, in the name of Jesus.
Speaker C:We praise you, Father, for your word, who is Jesus.
Speaker B:We praise you, Father, for the technology.
Speaker C:You have made available to us in these last days to share your word, to share Jesus with the world.
Speaker C:And Father, it's our prayer this day that the Holy Spirit would lead, guide and direct this conversation to bring glory to your name.
Speaker C:That someone somewhere this day would receive Jesus as their Savior as a result of this broadcast.
Speaker C:And we just praise you for it.
Speaker C:In Jesus name.
Speaker C:Amen and amen.
Speaker C:Praise God.
Speaker C:Have your Bibles.
Speaker C:Turn with me to John, chapter 14.
Speaker C:I'm just going to read down through some verses here before I jump into my notes.
Speaker C:Praise the Lord because it's so important for you to grasp what we're going to be talking about today.
Speaker C:And the question I have for you is, do you listen when God speaks?
Speaker D:Amen.
Speaker C:So let's start in verse one.
Speaker C:Let not your heart be trouble.
Speaker C:Who's speaking here?
Speaker C:Jesus.
Speaker C:Right.
Speaker C:Let not your heart be troubled.
Speaker C:You believe in God, believe also in me.
Speaker C:For in my Father's house are many mansions.
Speaker C:If it were not so, I would have told you.
Speaker C:And I'm going to prepare a place for you.
Speaker C:There's a reference to the.
Speaker C:The wedding feast.
Speaker C:Okay.
Speaker C:If I go and prepare a place for you, I will come again to receive you to myself.
Speaker C:So that where I am, you may be also.
Speaker C:And where I go, you know.
Speaker D:Amen.
Speaker C:Where I go, you know.
Speaker C:And the way you know.
Speaker C:Now, Thomas said to him, lord, how.
Speaker B:Are we going to know where you're going?
Speaker C:How can we know the way?
Speaker C:And he said, I am the way, the truth and the life.
Speaker C:No man comes to the Father but by me.
Speaker C:If you'd known me, you should have known my Father also.
Speaker C:And from this point forward, you do know him, for you've seen Him.
Speaker C:Then Philip said, lord, show us the Father.
Speaker C:That'd be enough for us.
Speaker C:Jesus said to him, have I been such a long time with you, Philip, yet you have not known me.
Speaker C:He that has seen me has seen the Father.
Speaker C:Let's say that again.
Speaker C:Say it with me.
Speaker C:He that has seen me has seen the Father.
Speaker C:So how can you say that?
Speaker C:Show us the Father.
Speaker C:Don't you believe that I'm in the Father?
Speaker C:The Father's in me.
Speaker C:The words I speak to you, I do not speak of myself, but the Father that dwells in me, he does the works.
Speaker C:Believe me, I'm in the Father, the Father's in me.
Speaker C:Or else just believe me for the very work's sake.
Speaker C:Verily, verily, I say to you, he that believes on me the works I do, he shall do also.
Speaker C:Greater works than these shall he do.
Speaker B:We have the ability to do greater.
Speaker C:Works than Jesus did because we have him.
Speaker B:Because he's gone.
Speaker C:Be with the Father.
Speaker B:That's what he said.
Speaker C:Because I'm going to my Father.
Speaker C:Whatsoever you ask of My name, that will I do so that the Father may be glorified in the Son.
Speaker C:If you ask anything in My name, I'll do it.
Speaker C:If you love me, keep my commandments.
Speaker C:And I'll pray the Father and He'll give you another comforter that he may abide with you forever.
Speaker C:The Spirit of Truth, the Holy Spirit, whom the world cannot receive because it does not see him, neither does it know Him.
Speaker C:But you know Him.
Speaker C:For he dwells with you and shall be with you.
Speaker C:I won't leave your comfort list.
Speaker C:I will come to you.
Speaker B:But some people today, they want to say, oh, Jesus is just a good teacher.
Speaker B:Have you ever heard them say that?
Speaker B:They'll say, well, he was a wise man.
Speaker B:He was a moral leader.
Speaker B:He's an example to follow.
Speaker B:But then those same people pick and choose what they want to listen to.
Speaker B:They'll say things like, jesus was all about love, so don't talk to me about judgment.
Speaker B:Or, Jesus taught us to be kind, so don't tell me what's right and what's wrong.
Speaker B:Or Jesus didn't say much about.
Speaker B:And then you pick the topic.
Speaker D:Amen.
Speaker B:I can live however I want.
Speaker B:Because he didn't talk about that, folks.
Speaker B:That's just not how it works.
Speaker B:That is not how it works.
Speaker B:Jesus is not just a teacher.
Speaker B:He's God.
Speaker B:Let me say that again.
Speaker B:Jesus is God.
Speaker B:That means his words are not just good advice.
Speaker B:They are divine commands.
Speaker B:And if we truly believe that, then there is absolutely no room for picking and choosing what we want to follow, is there?
Speaker D:Amen.
Speaker B:Don't shut me down when I'm preaching.
Speaker B:Good.
Speaker B:Praise the Lord.
Speaker D:Don't.
Speaker B:Jesus himself said it.
Speaker B:He who has seen me has seen the Father.
Speaker B:John 14, 9.
Speaker B:That means when we read the words of Jesus in red, we are hearing directly from God himself.
Speaker B:The same God who spoke the universe into existence.
Speaker B:The same God who split the Red Sea.
Speaker B:The same God who gave Moses the ten Commandments on Mount Sinai.
Speaker B:That same God walked among us in the flesh as Jesus Christ, our Messiah, our Savior.
Speaker D:Amen.
Speaker B:So let me ask you, what did Jesus do?
Speaker B:He taught us what we need to know.
Speaker B:He showed us how much he loved us.
Speaker B:And then he proved it by going to the cross in our place, didn't he?
Speaker B:Folks, do you see what I'm saying here?
Speaker B:God did not just send someone to tell us what he wanted.
Speaker B:He came Himself.
Speaker B:Why?
Speaker B:Because he loves us that much.
Speaker B:He wasn't willing to leave it to chance.
Speaker B:He wasn't going to rely on us getting secondhand messengers in this.
Speaker B:No.
Speaker B:He came down personally to make sure we understood how much he loves us.
Speaker B:Praise God.
Speaker B:Hallelujah.
Speaker B:Yet even after all that, even after God himself came down and told us exactly what to do, people still ignore Him.
Speaker B:They still live as if his words don't matter.
Speaker B:Folks, let me tell you.
Speaker B:His words matter more than anything else in the entire world.
Speaker D:Amen.
Speaker B:His words are not just for today.
Speaker B:His words are not just to make our lives easier.
Speaker B:His words determine our eternity.
Speaker D:Amen.
Speaker B:Glory to God.
Speaker B:His words will determine how we live our life here and how we live our life after.
Speaker B:Hear?
Speaker D:Amen.
Speaker B:Are you hearing me?
Speaker B:Praise God.
Speaker B:So let me ask you again.
Speaker B:Are you listening to me?
Speaker B:Are you truly hearing what Jesus is saying?
Speaker B:Or are you just hearing what you want to hear?
Speaker B:Which is it?
Speaker D:Amen.
Speaker B:Are you hearing me right now?
Speaker B:We're not here.
Speaker B:Praise the Lord.
Speaker B:So we'll just continue on.
Speaker B:Hallelujah.
Speaker B:So where did I leave off that Lord Jesus?
Speaker B:What does it mean to hear believe Jesus words?
Speaker B:You know how obedience to Jesus is the evidence.
Speaker D:Really it is.
Speaker B:It's the evidence of real faith, isn't it?
Speaker B:I mean, why those who reject his words are rejecting eternal life itself.
Speaker D:Amen.
Speaker B:Let me turn this off.
Speaker B:Are we running here?
Speaker B:Test one, two.
Speaker B:Test one, two.
Speaker B:Radio is not.
Speaker B:Radio is not picking up.
Speaker B:Okay, gotcha.
Speaker B:We're just doing YouTube.
Speaker B:All right?
Speaker B:So if you're ready to go deeper now after those technical difficulties, if you're ready to go deeper, if you're ready to truly heed the instructions.
Speaker B:Instructions of Jesus, we'll just keep going.
Speaker B:Even though the devil's fighting us right now, but the devil's already a loser.
Speaker B:Because what we're about to cover can change your life forever.
Speaker B:Obedience proves our love for Jesus.
Speaker D:Amen.
Speaker B:Hearing and believing the words of Jesus is the foundation of our faith.
Speaker B:But let me tell you something.
Speaker B:Belief without obedience is meaningless.
Speaker B:There are a lot of people out there who will say, oh, I believe in Jesus, but they don't follow his teachings.
Speaker B:They claim to love God, but their lives show no evidence of that love.
Speaker B:Let me be clear.
Speaker B:True faith in Jesus is not just about what we say.
Speaker B:It's about what we do.
Speaker B:Don't shut me down.
Speaker B:I'm preaching.
Speaker B:Good.
Speaker B:Praise God.
Speaker B:Jesus himself made this point very clear, right?
Speaker B:I mean, when he said we.
Speaker B:Read it.
Speaker B:He who does not love me, he doesn't keep my words.
Speaker B:The word which you hear is not mine, but the Father's who sent me.
Speaker D:Amen.
Speaker B:Folks, that verse right there, that should shake us up a little bit.
Speaker B:According to Jesus, the proof of our love for him is whether or not we keep his words.
Speaker B:Not just admire his words, not just quote his words.
Speaker B:Not just post little cute Bible verses on social media about his words.
Speaker B:He said, we, you and I have to obey his words.
Speaker B:Now, that's a hard truth for some people.
Speaker B:The world we live in today teaches that love is just a feeling, that you can define it however you want.
Speaker B:That's not what Jesus said.
Speaker B:Love is action.
Speaker B:Love is obedience.
Speaker B:Love is surrender.
Speaker B:If we say we love Jesus, but we live like his words don't matter, then according to him, we don't actually love him, do we?
Speaker B:That's what he said.
Speaker B:How we feel doesn't matter in the debate.
Speaker D:Amen.
Speaker B:The difference between professing faith and possessing faith is all that matters.
Speaker B:Because there's two types of people in the church today.
Speaker B:There's those who profess faith in Jesus and those who are actually possessing faith in Jesus.
Speaker B:How can you tell the difference?
Speaker B:Well, the difference is in obedience.
Speaker B:Think about it.
Speaker B:Anyone.
Speaker B:Anyone can claim to be a Christian.
Speaker B:Anyone can go to church, sing worship song, say, I love you, Jesus, then go out to A football game or to a bar, watch a football game, get drunk, curse like a sailor, like everybody else, maybe even get into a scuffle with someone who supports the other team.
Speaker B:All after hearing a sermon on love thy neighbor and professing their love for Jesus.
Speaker B:And three hours later, living like the devil.
Speaker B:Don't look at me at that tone of voice.
Speaker B:I'm stepping all over your holy football game stuff.
Speaker B:Praise God.
Speaker B:I know I'm stepping all over sacred cows out there right now, just kicking them over left and right.
Speaker D:Amen.
Speaker B:But the real test of faith is whether or not we actually live according to what Jesus says.
Speaker B:Not just for one hour on a Sunday morning, but for all the other 167 hours per week, too.
Speaker D:Amen.
Speaker B:The real test of faith is whether or not we actually live according to what he says.
Speaker B:Not everyone who says to me, lord, Lord, will enter the kingdom of heaven, but he who does what the will of my Father in heaven.
Speaker B:Matthew 7:21.
Speaker B:Did you catch that?
Speaker B:Did you catch what he said here?
Speaker B:Not everyone who calls Jesus Lord will enter the kingdom of heaven.
Speaker B:Just saying you believe in Jesus is not enough.
Speaker B:What does Jesus say?
Speaker B:The one who enters the kingdom is the one who does the will of the Father.
Speaker D:Amen.
Speaker B:That means obedience is the evidence of real faith.
Speaker B:Let me put it another way.
Speaker B:Imagine a man tells his wife, I love you.
Speaker B:I love you so much.
Speaker B:But he constantly ignores her.
Speaker B:He lies to her, he does whatever pleases him and just forgets about her.
Speaker B:Would she really believe he loves her?
Speaker B:Of course not.
Speaker B:His words mean nothing if his actions don't match up.
Speaker B:Well, it's the same way with Jesus.
Speaker B:If we say we love him, but we refuse to follow what he tells us to do, then according to him, we don't love him at all.
Speaker D:Amen.
Speaker B:Why does obedience matter so much?
Speaker B:Well, some people hear this and they'll say, wait a minute now.
Speaker B:Are you saying we have to earn our salvation, Brother Bob?
Speaker B:No, no, no, no.
Speaker B:That's not what I'm saying at all.
Speaker B:Salvation is a free gift from God.
Speaker B:We are saved by grace, through faith, not by Works.
Speaker B:Ephesians 2:8:9.
Speaker B:But listen to me.
Speaker B:True faith always produces obedience.
Speaker B:If we are genuinely saved, if we truly love Jesus, then obedience is the natural result.
Speaker B:Think about it like this.
Speaker B:If you plant an apple tree, what kind of fruit are you going to get?
Speaker B:Apples.
Speaker B:Right?
Speaker B:The fruit is proof that the tree is alive and healthy.
Speaker B:It's the same way with our faith.
Speaker B:Obedience is the fruit of salvation.
Speaker B:If we truly belong to Jesus, Our lives will produce the evidence.
Speaker B:Love, holiness, integrity, obedience to his teachings.
Speaker B:I pray you're understanding this.
Speaker B:Praise God.
Speaker B:Jesus, put it this way.
Speaker B:If you love me, we just read it.
Speaker B:If you love me, keep my commandments.
Speaker B: John: Speaker B:That's as clear as it gets.
Speaker B:If we love Jesus, we will do what he says.
Speaker D:Amen.
Speaker B:Now, I want to share about the consequences of ignoring his words.
Speaker B:And I'm going to flip this around a little bit.
Speaker B:If obedience proves our love for Jesus, what does disobedience prove?
Speaker B:Jesus himself answered that question too.
Speaker B:He who does not love me, he does not keep my words.
Speaker B: John: Speaker B:That's about as straight as it gets.
Speaker D:Amen.
Speaker B:Does anybody out there want to try and argue that point with Jesus?
Speaker D:Amen.
Speaker B:I'm not going to sugarcoat this.
Speaker B:If we ignore Jesus commands, we're proving we don't love him.
Speaker B:If we don't love him, then we have absolutely no hope of gaining the benefits of loving him, namely the forgiveness of our sins and the gift of eternal life that comes from Him.
Speaker B:You have no hope at all if you're not doing what he says.
Speaker B:That's heavy.
Speaker B:That's a heavy truth, but it's one we need to face head on.
Speaker D:Amen.
Speaker B:A lot of churches out there today refuse to even discuss this.
Speaker B:Why?
Speaker B:Because it's not popular.
Speaker B:Because it might offend someone.
Speaker B:Because someone may be offended and not come back anymore.
Speaker B:And then the offerings go down and the church budget is so high.
Speaker B:Ah, don't shut me down.
Speaker B:I'm preaching good.
Speaker B:You know as well as I do, there's a lot.
Speaker B:I mean, a lot.
Speaker B:Let me.
Speaker B:Let me rephrase that.
Speaker B:So you get it.
Speaker B:There's a lot of churches, though they may not say it that way.
Speaker B:You know as well as I do what they're thinking.
Speaker D:Amen.
Speaker D:Hmm.
Speaker B:Want to know something else?
Speaker B:Jesus knows it, too.
Speaker B:Yep.
Speaker B:I remember one time I was preaching little small church in Texas, and they didn't want to receive the Word in that area.
Speaker B:I'll just put it like that.
Speaker B:This church was so stuck in their traditions, they refused to do anything or hear anything.
Speaker B:That was not what they were used to hearing.
Speaker B:As I was leaving, the pastor didn't even come out to shake my hand.
Speaker B:Yeah, I left.
Speaker B:And as I was walking across the parking lot, I still remember this.
Speaker B:I pray, Lord, I don't think they like the preaching today.
Speaker B:Almost immediately, in my spirit, I heard the Lord say, that's okay.
Speaker B:They didn't like mine either.
Speaker D:Amen.
Speaker D:Amen.
Speaker B:They were so stuck in what they were doing.
Speaker B:The only new members in that church happened when someone had a baby.
Speaker B:And that's it.
Speaker B:Okay, that is not an exaggeration, folks.
Speaker B:In other words, they only like preaching that.
Speaker B:What does the Bible say?
Speaker B:Oh, tickled their ears.
Speaker D:That's it.
Speaker D:Amen.
Speaker D:Hello.
Speaker B:You got quiet out there.
Speaker B:Alright, let's move on.
Speaker B:I know people are being offended what I say right now.
Speaker B:That's not me speaking it.
Speaker B:That's the Holy Spirit speaking to you.
Speaker B:But the world is full of people who claim they follow Jesus, but their actions say otherwise.
Speaker B:They want the benefits of salvation.
Speaker B:They just don't want to submit to his authority.
Speaker B:They want heaven, but they don't want holiness.
Speaker B:They want blessings, but they don't want to surrender their lives.
Speaker D:Amen.
Speaker B:But Jesus never gave us those options.
Speaker B:He made it clear you're either for him or.
Speaker B:Or you're against him.
Speaker B: Matthew: Speaker B:There's no middle ground, folks.
Speaker B:And you know what?
Speaker B:Here's the danger.
Speaker B:When people reject obedience, they're rejecting Jesus himself.
Speaker B:The Bible tells us in John 1:14, Jesus is the word made flesh.
Speaker B:That means rejecting his words is the same as rejecting Him.
Speaker B:That's why this matters so much.
Speaker B:That's why we're talking about it today.
Speaker B:It's not just about following rules.
Speaker B:It's about following him.
Speaker D:Him.
Speaker D:Amen.
Speaker B:Praise the Lord.
Speaker B:So are you walking in obedience?
Speaker B:Let me ask you, is there an area in your life where you know God has spoken but you haven't obeyed?
Speaker B:Maybe it's a relationship.
Speaker B:He told you to walk away from it.
Speaker B:Maybe it's a habit.
Speaker B:He told you to quit it.
Speaker B:Maybe it's a step of faith.
Speaker B:He's been nudging you to take, but you've been resisting.
Speaker B:Whatever it is, folks, delayed obedience, you know, I'll get to it later when things work out.
Speaker B:That's the same thing as disobedience.
Speaker D:Amen.
Speaker B:You know, in the military, when I was back in the military, if I gave an order, it was expected to be obeyed.
Speaker B:If it was not obeyed and I asked why, what do you think would happen if the soldier told me, well, I was going to get to it.
Speaker B:I just haven't done it yet.
Speaker B:I don't feel like doing it right now, but I'll get around to it later.
Speaker B:Sir, I was brought up old school.
Speaker B:I'm not even going to tell you what the outcome of that conversation would have been because I wasn't born again back then.
Speaker B:Amen.
Speaker B:But I could just say it wouldn't be church like in my Response.
Speaker B:I'll just let it go with that.
Speaker D:Amen.
Speaker B:I know all you military folks out there know exactly what I'm talking about.
Speaker B:Because let's just say I would have escorted the soldier around behind the barracks to have.
Speaker B:We'll just say a talk and leave it at that.
Speaker B:Some of you old time guys, you know what I'm talking about.
Speaker D:Amen.
Speaker B:Okay, moving on.
Speaker D:Amen.
Speaker B:If we truly love Jesus, we need to take his word seriously.
Speaker B:That means examining our lives and asking, am I living in obedience to Christ?
Speaker B:Not just in the big things, but in the little things.
Speaker B:Not just when it's convenient, even when it's hard.
Speaker B:Because obedience is not optional.
Speaker B:Obedience is the evidence of real faith, folks.
Speaker B:If there's an area where you need to surrender, do it today.
Speaker B:Don't wait, don't ignore his words.
Speaker B:Make the decision to walk in obedience, not out of fear, but out of love.
Speaker B:Because when you truly love Jesus, obeying Him is not a burden, it is a privilege.
Speaker B:You know, the foundation of a life is built on obedience.
Speaker B:Believing in Jesus, obeying His words is not just about getting to heaven, it's about building a life.
Speaker B:That life.
Speaker B:Because let me tell you, storms are coming.
Speaker B:Life is full of challenges.
Speaker B:Financial struggles, health crises, broken relationships, unexpected tragedies.
Speaker B:But the truth is, whether or not we are standing strong through these storms will depend on what we've built our lives upon.
Speaker B:And Jesus gave us a powerful example of this.
Speaker B:In Matthew 7:24 27, he said, Therefore, whoever hears these sayings of mine and does them, I liken him to a wise man who built his house on the rock.
Speaker B:And then the rains descended, the floods came, the winds blew and beat on that house, and it did not fall, for it was founded on the rock.
Speaker D:Amen.
Speaker B:In other words, storms came, but he stood strong.
Speaker B:But everyone who hears these sayings of mine and does not do them will be like a foolish man who built his house on the sand.
Speaker B:The rains descended, the floods came, the winds blew and beat on that house, and it fell.
Speaker B:And what and great was the fall?
Speaker B:Matthew 7:24 to 27.
Speaker D:Amen.
Speaker B:Praise God.
Speaker B:That's the word.
Speaker B:Let's break this down.
Speaker B:Because what Jesus is saying here is critical to our understanding of what it means to truly follow him.
Speaker B:There were two houses and two foundations.
Speaker D:Amen.
Speaker B:Praise God.
Speaker B:And my arm getting tired holding up this microphone, folks.
Speaker B:Hallelujah.
Speaker B:I'm gonna try and put it back in here and see if I can't just do this here.
Speaker B:But two.
Speaker B:Two houses, two foundations.
Speaker D:Amen.
Speaker B:And Put that over here.
Speaker B:See, that helps out.
Speaker B:The thing is, both of them, both owners heard the words of Jesus.
Speaker B:Both houses were built, but the difference was how they responded to the words.
Speaker B:Amen.
Speaker B:The wise man hears the words of Jesus, does them.
Speaker B:He doesn't just agree with them.
Speaker B:He just doesn't say, wow, that's pretty good teaching there, Lord.
Speaker B:He takes action.
Speaker B:He builds his life, his house, on the obedience to Christ.
Speaker B:And because of that, his house stands firm when the storms come.
Speaker B:Because they will come.
Speaker B:The foolish man, on the other hand, he hears Jesus words.
Speaker D:Amen.
Speaker B:And maybe he agrees with them, maybe he even admires them, but he doesn't act on them.
Speaker B:He doesn't build the foundation.
Speaker D:Amen.
Speaker B:So instead, he just builds his house on the sand.
Speaker B:It's easy.
Speaker B:Whatever is easy, whatever is convenient, whatever is popular.
Speaker B:And what happens when the storms come?
Speaker B:His house collapses.
Speaker B:And not just a little bit.
Speaker B:Jesus said it was a great fall.
Speaker D:Amen.
Speaker B:Now let's get real for a second.
Speaker B:This is exactly what we see happening in the world today.
Speaker B:There are people who claim to follow Jesus, but their lives are built on sand.
Speaker B:They base their identity on their career, their finances, their reputation, their relationships.
Speaker B:None of that lasts.
Speaker B:None of it.
Speaker B:The moment trouble hits, they fall.
Speaker B:They collapse.
Speaker B:Anxiety overwhelms them.
Speaker B:Fear takes over.
Speaker B:They lose their sense of purpose.
Speaker B:Why?
Speaker B:Because their foundation was not on Christ.
Speaker B:It was on sand.
Speaker B:But those who build their lives on Jesus, those who take his words and actually live by them, they stand firm no matter what comes their way.
Speaker D:Amen.
Speaker B:What is your life built on?
Speaker B:Folks, let's make this personal.
Speaker B:What are you building your life on?
Speaker B:Are you building on the solid rock of Jesus, or are you building on the shifting sands of the world?
Speaker B:Because let me tell you, storms will come.
Speaker B:I don't care how much money you have, I don't care how successful you are, how much people admire you on social media.
Speaker B:At some point, life will hit you with something you were not expecting.
Speaker B:That's just the way it is.
Speaker B:And when it happens, your true foundation will be revealed.
Speaker D:Amen.
Speaker B:Think about if your peace is based just on your bank account, what happens when the economy crashes?
Speaker B:If your joy is based on your relationships, what happens when other people let you down?
Speaker B:If your security based on your job, what happens when you get laid off?
Speaker B:That's a big issue in the news today, isn't it?
Speaker D:Amen.
Speaker B:And I can relate.
Speaker B:I've had it happen to me way back when, there were no programs that helped out like there are today.
Speaker B:I was just out in the cold, on my own.
Speaker B:I don't have time to get into all that.
Speaker B:But if your life built on sand, you will crumble.
Speaker B:If your life is built on Jesus, on obedience to his words, you will stand.
Speaker B:That's why obedience is not just about morality.
Speaker B:It's about survival.
Speaker B:It's about ensuring that when life hits you hard, you are anchored in something that cannot be shaken.
Speaker D:Amen.
Speaker B:Because there is.
Speaker B:There's a deception in fault security.
Speaker B:Here's the scary part.
Speaker B:Many people don't realize they're building on sand until the storm comes.
Speaker B:They feel secure.
Speaker B:Everything seems fine, it's going great.
Speaker B:But let me ask you this.
Speaker B:How strong is a house before the storm hits?
Speaker B:It might like beautiful on the outside, but if it's built on sand, it's just a matter of time till that sand shift shifts and the house collapses.
Speaker B:Think about those beautiful homes you see on the beach in Florida or wherever.
Speaker B:So beautiful they just make you envious when you see them.
Speaker B:Then you see on the news a Cat 5 hurricane hits and you go back a month or so later and there's only a cement foundation left.
Speaker B:The homes are gone.
Speaker B:Why am I saying this?
Speaker B:Don't be fooled by appearances.
Speaker D:Amen.
Speaker B:That's why Jesus warns us folks not to deceive ourselves.
Speaker B:It's so easy to think, you know, we're okay.
Speaker B:You know, we go to church just because we read the Bible.
Speaker B:We go to church just because we pray, we're okay, we're fine.
Speaker B:But the real question is, are we living in obedience?
Speaker B:Are we actually applying what Jesus said?
Speaker B:Because if not, we're no different from the foolish man building a house on sand.
Speaker B:James, put it this way.
Speaker B:James 1:22.
Speaker B:Be ye doers of the Word, not hearers, only deceiving yourselves.
Speaker B:Did you catch that?
Speaker B:If we hear the word but we don't act on it, we are deceiving ourselves.
Speaker B:That means we think we're standing firm, when in reality, we are one step away from collapse.
Speaker B:And that means building on the rock has to start now.
Speaker B:It doesn't matter what you did last year, six months ago, last month, last week, yesterday.
Speaker B:It doesn't matter.
Speaker B:What do we do?
Speaker B:We recognize the parts of our lives that are built on sand.
Speaker B:And how do we start building on the rock then?
Speaker B:Oh, I'm so glad you asked.
Speaker B:Praise God.
Speaker B:We could break it down really into four areas.
Speaker B:Get out something to write with.
Speaker B:Write these down.
Speaker B:Number one.
Speaker B:Make a decision today.
Speaker B:Today to obey Jesus in everything.
Speaker B:Don't pick and choose which one of his Teachings to follow.
Speaker B:Commit to full obedience on all of them.
Speaker B:Praise God.
Speaker B:You may not measure up.
Speaker B:That's okay.
Speaker B:But commit to it.
Speaker B:Examine your foundation.
Speaker B:Ask yourself, what am I really, really, really trusting in?
Speaker B:Where do I find my security?
Speaker B:If everything in my life was taken away right now, would my faith still stand?
Speaker B:And then strengthen your foundation each and every day is number three.
Speaker B:Strengthen your foundation every day with daily obedience.
Speaker B:Reading the Bible is good.
Speaker B:Living by it's better.
Speaker B:Praying is important, but surrendering to God's will is more crucial.
Speaker B:And apply what you learn.
Speaker B:Put action with your faith.
Speaker B:4.
Speaker B:Trust God when the storms hit.
Speaker B:If you're going through a hard time right now, brother, don't panic.
Speaker B:Instead, ask yourself, am I standing on the rock of Christ?
Speaker B:Is my faith strong enough to endure this?
Speaker B:Now the answer is no.
Speaker B:Now is the time to strengthen your foundation.
Speaker D:Amen.
Speaker B:Praise God.
Speaker B:Jesus never said, if storms come.
Speaker B:Jesus said, when.
Speaker B:When the rain descended?
Speaker B:When the floods came?
Speaker B:When the winds blew.
Speaker B:Storms are inevitable.
Speaker B:But here's the good news.
Speaker D:Amen.
Speaker B:You don't have to fall.
Speaker B:If you build your life on Jesus, if you take his word seriously and live by them, then no matter what happens, you will stand.
Speaker B:You have his promise on that.
Speaker D:Amen.
Speaker B:So let me ask you again.
Speaker B:What is your life built on?
Speaker B:If you want to be unshakable, if you want to endure every storm, then the answer is simple.
Speaker B:Heed the instructions of Jesus.
Speaker B:Build your life on the rock.
Speaker B:Because the words of Jesus are spirit and life.
Speaker D:Amen.
Speaker B:If there's one thing we need to understand about the words of Jesus is this.
Speaker B:They're not ordinary words.
Speaker D:Amen.
Speaker B:They are not like the words of a motivational speaker or some great philosopher or a best selling author.
Speaker B:The words of Jesus carry supernatural power.
Speaker B:They are divine.
Speaker B:They are eternal.
Speaker B:Most importantly, they are life giving.
Speaker B:Jesus himself said it.
Speaker B:It's the Spirit who gives life.
Speaker B:The flesh profits nothing.
Speaker B:The words I speak to you are spirit and they are Life.
Speaker B:That's John 6:63, folks.
Speaker B:That right there should make us stop and pay attention.
Speaker D:Amen.
Speaker B:Because in a world filled with empty words, with deception and confusion and meaningless noise, Jesus is telling us that his words are different.
Speaker B:His words are life itself.
Speaker B:Think about the power of God's Word in creation and in salvation.
Speaker D:Amen.
Speaker B:From the very beginning, we see God's word.
Speaker B:His words create life.
Speaker B:Go back to Genesis.
Speaker B:How did God create the universe?
Speaker B:He spoke.
Speaker B:He said.
Speaker B:Then God said, let there be light.
Speaker B:And there was light.
Speaker B:God didn't build the world with his hands.
Speaker B:He didn't take raw material shapen together to spin it on out into the universe.
Speaker B:No, he spoke and it existed.
Speaker B:His words carried the very power of life itself.
Speaker B:And now here comes Jesus.
Speaker B:He tells us his words work the same way.
Speaker B:Praise God.
Speaker B:The same creative power that brought the universe into existence is the same words of Christ.
Speaker B:That means when Jesus speaks, things change.
Speaker B:Praise God.
Speaker B:When Jesus speaks, the dead come to life.
Speaker B:When Jesus speaks, darkness is pushed back, light comes in and hey man, don't shout me down.
Speaker B:I'm preaching good.
Speaker B:Oh, I'm getting excited now.
Speaker B:Just think about how Jesus used his words in the gospel.
Speaker B:When a storm threatened to drown the disciples, Jesus simply said, peace, be still.
Speaker B:And the storm stopped.
Speaker B:Praise God.
Speaker B:Mark 4:39.
Speaker B:When Lazarus had been dead for four days already, four days, Jesus stood outside, said, Lazarus, come forth.
Speaker B:Lazarus got up from the dead and walked out.
Speaker B:Praise God.
Speaker B: John: Speaker B:And the man stood up, grabbed his bed and walked home.
Speaker B:Praise God.
Speaker B:Mark 2:11.
Speaker B:Ah, don't shut me down.
Speaker B:I'm preaching good.
Speaker B:Praise God.
Speaker B:You see, the words of Jesus don't just give information.
Speaker B:They bring transformation.
Speaker B:They just don't educate.
Speaker B:They resurrect.
Speaker B:Praise God.
Speaker B:Hallelujah.
Speaker B:So here's the question.
Speaker B:If Jesus words are spirit and life, then why do we see so many Christians neglect them?
Speaker B:Why do people fill their hearts and their minds with the empty words of the world instead of the life gifts words of Jesus himself?
Speaker B:Think about it.
Speaker B:Every single day, we're bombarded with words all day long.
Speaker B:Words from the news, words from social media, entertainment advertisements, conversations.
Speaker B:And let's be honest, probably 99% of it is mostly junk.
Speaker D:Amen.
Speaker B:Most of us design to distract, deceive or discourage us, isn't it?
Speaker B:Yep.
Speaker B:People spend hours every single day filling themselves with the words of the world while neglecting the words of life.
Speaker D:Amen.
Speaker B:I know.
Speaker B:I'm always amazed, you know, sitting in a doctor's office, I'll use that as an example.
Speaker B:On the TV is some TV talk show about all sorts of weird stuff from the entertainment industry.
Speaker B:Things that do nothing to minister to the needs of those who need to hear about healing.
Speaker B:I mean, they may be in their last of the last days, some of them, right, they need to be ministered to instead of being entertained and distracted about how long they've been sitting in the doctor's office.
Speaker B:My wife and I, when we're stuck waiting in the doctor's office.
Speaker B:We listen to our phones and the earbuds we get ministered to.
Speaker D:Amen.
Speaker B:Think about it.
Speaker B:Who is a doctor who's usually in a doctor's office?
Speaker B:Sick people.
Speaker B:My wife and I may be there for a routine checkup.
Speaker B:We're sitting there with all these sick people.
Speaker B:But you know what?
Speaker B:We never catch a cold or anything.
Speaker B:Why?
Speaker B:We use the word to protect us.
Speaker D:Amen.
Speaker B:And that's just one example, folks.
Speaker B:That's just one example.
Speaker B:And it's not the topic of the conversation today.
Speaker B:So I may preach on divine healing one of these days.
Speaker B:Praise God.
Speaker B:Anyway, moving on.
Speaker B:Hallelujah.
Speaker B:Jesus is offering to us life giving words and yet so many people act like they don't have time to listen.
Speaker B:I'm too busy to read my Bible, but they have time to scroll on their phone for hours.
Speaker B:They say, I don't have time for prayer, but they have time to binge watch their favorite TV shows.
Speaker B:They say, I want to hear from God, but they never open the very book where he speaks to them.
Speaker D:Amen.
Speaker B:Let me tell you something.
Speaker B:You cannot be spiritually strong if you are starving yourself of the words of Jesus.
Speaker B:Just like your body needs food every single day, your spirit needs the Word of God every single day.
Speaker D:Amen.
Speaker B:And your body will react to the word of God.
Speaker B:That's why Jesus said, man shall not live by bread alone, but by every word that proceeds.
Speaker B:What?
Speaker B:From the mouth of God.
Speaker D:Amen.
Speaker B:Matthew 4.
Speaker B:4.
Speaker B:If you eat physical food every day to keep your body strong, but you only open your Bible once a week, folks, your spirit's starving.
Speaker B:If your spirit is weak, you will be vulnerable to every temptation, every deception, every attack of the enemy.
Speaker B:And over time, your body will become weak too.
Speaker B:There is a connection between the spirit and the Word.
Speaker B:There is a connection right there.
Speaker B:Notice Jesus said, it's the Spirit who gives life.
Speaker B:The Holy Spirit is the one who makes the Word come alive in us.
Speaker D:Amen.
Speaker B:That's why reading the Bible is just not an intellectual exercise.
Speaker B:It is a spiritual experience every time I open it.
Speaker B:When you open the Bible with a heart that is ready to receive, the Holy Spirit illuminates the words you read.
Speaker B:He brings them to life, applying them to your situations you're facing and transforming your heart in the process.
Speaker D:Amen.
Speaker B:Strengthening your spirit in the process too.
Speaker B:That's why some people can read the Bible like a history book and get nothing out of it, while others read it and are radically changed.
Speaker B:Same word, same book, two different outcomes.
Speaker B:The difference is in how they receive it.
Speaker B:If you read the Word without faith, without the Holy Spirit, you might gain knowledge, but you won't gain life.
Speaker B:But if you read it with a heart that's open to the Holy Spirit, then those same words become life in you.
Speaker B:Let me ask you again, what are you listening to?
Speaker B:Let's be honest, folks.
Speaker B:Many Christians struggle in their faith because they're listening to the wrong voices every single day, all day long.
Speaker B:Instead of filling themselves with the life giving words of Jesus, they're consuming all of the negativity, all of the deception and all of the lies of the world.
Speaker B:And let me tell you, what you listen to shapes your faith.
Speaker B:Jesus said again, take heed what you hear with the same measure you use, it will be measured to you again.
Speaker B:Mark 4:24.
Speaker B:In other words, whatever you put into your heart is what will grow.
Speaker B:If you fill your mind with fear and anxiety and worldly thinking, that's what takes root in your life.
Speaker B:But if you fill your mind with the words of Jesus, if you meditate on his promises, if you let his truth sink down deep into your spirit, then faith, peace and strength will grow inside of you until it manifests I on the outside of you.
Speaker D:Amen.
Speaker B:Amen.
Speaker D:Amen.
Speaker B:Folks, it's time for you to feast on the Word of God.
Speaker B:So let me challenge you.
Speaker B:Are you feeding your spirit with the words of Jesus every single day?
Speaker B:If not, today is the day to start.
Speaker B:The Word of God is not a snack you grab when you feel like it's called what your daily bread.
Speaker B:It is the source of life, the foundation of truth, the very thing that will sustain you through every trial and challenge the devil puts in your way.
Speaker B:If you want to grow in your faith, get into the Word.
Speaker B:If you want to hear God's voice, get into the Word.
Speaker B:If you want to walk in the power of the Spirit, get into the Word.
Speaker B:Because Jesus made it very clear.
Speaker B:His words are spirit and they are life.
Speaker B:The question is, are you listening?
Speaker D:Amen.
Speaker B:1.
Speaker B:One of the most profound truths Jesus ever spoke about his followers is found in John, chapter 10, verse 27.
Speaker B:My sheep hear my voice and I know them and they follow me.
Speaker D:Amen.
Speaker B:Now this is where we need to stop and ask ourselves a very serious question.
Speaker B:Do we actually hear his voice?
Speaker B:Because Jesus made it very clear, his sheep hear his voice.
Speaker B:If we belong to him, if we are truly his followers, we should be able to recognize him when he speaks.
Speaker B:And not only that, we should be following Him.
Speaker D:Amen.
Speaker B:So let's break this down.
Speaker B:Let's Ask ourselves three key questions here.
Speaker B:Number one, are we truly his sheep?
Speaker B:Are we listening to his voice?
Speaker B:And are we actually following Him?
Speaker B:Because if we fail in any one of those three areas, we need to take a hard look at our relationship with Jesus.
Speaker D:Amen.
Speaker B:So I guess I could ask it like this.
Speaker B:What does it really mean to be one of his sheep?
Speaker B:Jesus used the metaphor of a sheep and a shepherd because in biblical times, sheep were completely dependent on their shepherd for survival.
Speaker D:Amen.
Speaker B:Without the shepherd, the sheep were vulnerable to predators and thieves and getting lost and just wandering off.
Speaker B:They did not have any natural defenses.
Speaker B:They weren't very good at finding their own way.
Speaker D:Amen.
Speaker B:That's why the sheep grew to trust and follow their shepherd's voice.
Speaker B:They don't wander off listening to every sound they hear.
Speaker B:They don't follow strangers.
Speaker B:They don't rely on their own wisdom to figure out where to go.
Speaker B:They just listen for the voice of their shepherd and go that way.
Speaker D:Amen.
Speaker B:Now, Jesus says we are his sheep.
Speaker B:And just like sheep will trust and follow their shepherd, we're supposed to trust and follow Him.
Speaker B:That means we're not supposed to be following the world, following our emotions, following whatever is popular at the moment.
Speaker B:We are supposed to be what?
Speaker B:Following Jesus.
Speaker D:Amen.
Speaker B:And that brings us to the next question.
Speaker B:How do we recognize his voice?
Speaker D:Amen.
Speaker B:That's how do we recognize the voice of Jesus?
Speaker B:Because Jesus said, my sheep hear my voice.
Speaker B:Not some of my sheep or only the really good ones.
Speaker B:Only the real spiritual ones.
Speaker B:They hear my.
Speaker B:No, all the sheep hear his voice.
Speaker B:That means if you belong to him, you should be able to recognize when he's speaking to you.
Speaker D:Amen.
Speaker B:Now again, let's get real for a second.
Speaker B:There are a lot of voices competing for our attention.
Speaker B:The world is filled with noise, media, social pressures, opinions, temptations, distractions, all of it.
Speaker B:And let's not forget Satan himself tries to imitate the voice of God to deceive people.
Speaker B:He did it with Eve in the garden, twisting God's words.
Speaker B:And he's still doing the same thing today.
Speaker D:Amen.
Speaker B:So how do we know if what we're hearing is truly the voice of Jesus?
Speaker B:Well, first, his voice always aligns with scripture.
Speaker B:Jesus will never, ever contradict his own word.
Speaker B:If something you're hearing goes against the Bible, I'm telling you right now, it's not from Jesus.
Speaker B:That's why it's critical to be in the Word every single day.
Speaker B:Because the more you know the Scriptures, the easier it'll be to recognize When God's speaking or when the enemy is trying to deceive you.
Speaker D:Amen.
Speaker B:Point number two.
Speaker B:His voice brings peace even in the midst of correction.
Speaker B:The Holy Spirit may convict us of sin, but he never condemns us or fills us with confusion.
Speaker B:If what you're hearing brings fear, condemnation or confusion, that's a clue Right now, it's not Jesus.
Speaker B:That's either your flesh or the enemy.
Speaker B:Point 3.
Speaker B:His voice leads us closer to Him.
Speaker B:If what you're sensing is pulling you away from your prayer time, away from the Word, or away from godly influences, it's not the voice of Jesus.
Speaker B:His voice always calls us closer into a deeper relationship with Him.
Speaker D:Amen.
Speaker B:So I ask you again, are you following his voice?
Speaker B:Hearing Jesus voice is just the beginning.
Speaker B:We also have to follow him, because here's the truth.
Speaker B:You can hear his voice and still refuse to follow Him.
Speaker B:There's people sitting in churches every week who hear the truth but never apply it to their lives.
Speaker D:Amen.
Speaker B:Jesus gives us a strong warning about this when he said, why do you call me Lord, Lord, and don't do the things I say?
Speaker B:Luke 6:46.
Speaker B:In other words, it's not enough to call Jesus Lord, we have to obey Him.
Speaker B:If we claim to be his sheep and we don't listen to his voice or follow his directions, then we're not his sheep at all.
Speaker D:Amen.
Speaker B:Let's take a moment here.
Speaker B:I know we're getting ready to run out of time.
Speaker B:I want to keep going until we make this point.
Speaker B:Take a moment and think about what happens when sheep ignore their shepherd's voice.
Speaker B:What happens when a sheep stops following the shepherd?
Speaker B:It gets lost.
Speaker B:It wanders away from safety.
Speaker B:It becomes easy prey for wolves and fish thieves.
Speaker B:Well, the same thing happens to people who ignore the voice of Jesus.
Speaker B:They wander into sin.
Speaker B:They make decisions based on their own reasoning instead of God's direction.
Speaker B:Eventually, they find themselves trapped in situations they were never meant to be in.
Speaker B:Broken relationships, financial struggles, spiritual emptiness, confusion, regret.
Speaker D:Amen.
Speaker B:But here's the good news in this, Jesus is the good Shepherd.
Speaker D:Amen.
Speaker B:Even when we wander away, he calls us back.
Speaker B:Even when we go astray, he comes looking for us.
Speaker B:That's what His Word says.
Speaker B:Remember what he said about the lost sheep?
Speaker B:What man of you having a hundred sheep, if he loses one of them, doesn't leave the 99 in the wilderness and goes after the one which is lost till he finds it.
Speaker B:Luke 15:4.
Speaker D:Amen.
Speaker B:He will come find you and get you back into the sheepfold.
Speaker B:That's the heart of our Shepherd.
Speaker B:He doesn't give up on us even when we wander away.
Speaker B:But listen, why put yourself through the pain of wandering in the first place?
Speaker B:Why suffer unnecessary heartbreak and confusion when you could just stay close to the shepherd from the very start?
Speaker B:Are you following the Great Shepherd?
Speaker B:That's the question.
Speaker B:Are you hearing the voice of Jesus?
Speaker B:Are you following where he's leading you?
Speaker B:Because Jesus said His sheep hear his voice and follow Him.
Speaker B:That means true believers don't just listen, they obey.
Speaker B:They obey.
Speaker B:If you've been struggling to hear from God, ask yourself, am I spending time in His Word on a daily basis?
Speaker B:Am I surrounding myself with godly influences?
Speaker B:Am I making time for prayer and worship on a daily basis?
Speaker B:Am I obeying what I already know he's told me to do?
Speaker D:Amen.
Speaker B:Because here's something important.
Speaker B:God often speaks more to those who are already obeying Him.
Speaker B:If you're waiting for direction but you haven't obeyed what he already told you, why would he give you more?
Speaker D:Amen.
Speaker B:Why would he give you more?
Speaker B:Jesus is calling you to follow him, not just in the big moments of life, but in the daily choices you make.
Speaker B:His voice is always speaking, always guiding, always leading.
Speaker B:The question is, are you listening?
Speaker D:Amen.
Speaker B:If you have wandered, if you've wandered away, if you've been listening to the wrong voices, today is the day to return to the Shepherd.
Speaker D:Amen.
Speaker B:Today is the day he's calling you back.
Speaker B:He's offering you peace, direction and security.
Speaker B:But you have to listen.
Speaker B:You have to obey.
Speaker D:Amen.
Speaker B:Jesus said in Mark 4, 24, 25, take heed what you hear with the same measure you use.
Speaker B:It will be measured to you again and to you who hear more will be given.
Speaker B:Whoever has to him more will be given.
Speaker B:But whoever does not have even what he has will be taken away from Him.
Speaker D:Amen.
Speaker B:Now, is this powerful statement.
Speaker B:I mean, it is powerful, but Jesus is telling us that the spiritual growth is not automatic.
Speaker B:It depends on how we listen and how we respond and how seriously we take his words.
Speaker D:Amen.
Speaker B:If you constantly feed on negativity and faith, fear and worldly philosophies, guess what?
Speaker B:That's what you're going to hear.
Speaker B:That's what you're going to fulfill.
Speaker B:That's what's going to be in your heart.
Speaker B:But if you fill yourself with the word of God, with the truth, with the voice of the Holy Spirit, your faith will grow stronger and your spirit will flourish.
Speaker D:Amen.
Speaker B:Praise the Lord.
Speaker B:Jesus said what he said Take heed what you hear.
Speaker B:Take heed what you hear.
Speaker B:That means be careful, be selective, be intentional.
Speaker D:Amen.
Speaker B:Because when you what you listen to shapes your life.
Speaker B:Jesus also said, with the same measure, you measure, I'll measure it back to you again.
Speaker D:Right?
Speaker D:Amen.
Speaker B:Praise the Lord.
Speaker B:That's why some people.
Speaker B:We are all out of time, aren't we?
Speaker B:Okay, I'm getting a signal that Pastor Boy Bob, you're talking too much.
Speaker D:Amen.
Speaker B:Praise the Lord.
Speaker B:Sometimes I just get on a whirlwind here and it's hard for me to stop.
Speaker B:But praise the Lord.
Speaker B:Let me share this and we'll close.
Speaker B:The Holy Spirit just dropped this into my heart.
Speaker B:Why do you think a lot of churches are struggling to grow?
Speaker B:Why are there people not attending anymore?
Speaker B:It's because the church leadership compromised on the preaching.
Speaker B:And what do we read?
Speaker B:Even what you have will be taken away.
Speaker B:That includes your church, your church members, Pastor.
Speaker B:Yeah, I said it.
Speaker B:Praise God.
Speaker B:Somebody just missed a good place to shout Amen right there.
Speaker D:Amen.
Speaker B:Praise the Lord.
Speaker D:Okay.
Speaker B:I'm getting the sign here, right?
Speaker B:So if you want to have all of the words of Jesus at your fingertips, let me close with this.
Speaker B:Get a copy of probably the best resource I found, the book what did Jesus Say?

Speaker B:World?
Speaker B:And order your copy.
Speaker D:Amen.
Speaker B:If you never received Jesus as your Savior, I want to pray with you right now.
Speaker B:Just bow your head and repeat these words after me.
Speaker B:At least in a voice loud enough for your own two ears to hear.
Speaker B:Father, in Jesus name, I repent of my sins of not following the words of Jesus.
Speaker B:And Lord, I praise you right now for coming into my heart, forgiving me of my sins, cleansing me from my sins and giving to me this gift of everlasting life.
Speaker B:And I praise you right now, Jesus.
Speaker B:And I want to study your word.
Speaker B:I want to read your words, Lord.
Speaker B:And I promise to do that in Jesus name, Amen.
Speaker B:And to help you in that again.
Speaker B:Go to what did Jesus say?
Speaker B:World?
Speaker B:And order a copy of a great book.
