Speaker A:

As pastor and teacher, Robert Thibodeau leads us into the anointed study of the word of God, teaching and empowering you how to impact your world with the gospel of Jesus Christ, teaching you how to receive the blessings and provisions of God and how to walk through this life with freedom through faith.

Speaker A:

And now, here's Pastor Robert Thibodeau.

Speaker B:

Hello, everyone, everywhere.

Speaker B:

Pastor Bob Thibodeau here.

Speaker B:

Welcome to Freedom through Faith.

Speaker B:

Glory to God.

Speaker B:

We're so blessed you're joining us here today.

Speaker B:

We're gonna have a blessed time with the Lord today.

Speaker B:

I've been looking forward to today's Bible study, and I pray you are as well.

Speaker B:

Hallelujah.

Speaker B:

Let's go to Lord with a word of prayer.

Speaker B:

We'll go ahead, get started.

Speaker B:

Today's Bible study.

Speaker B:

Heavenly Father, in the name of Jesus, we come before your throne this day just thanking you, worshiping you, Father, praising you for the technology you made available for us to share the gospel with the world.

Speaker B:

Lord, we pray that someone, somewhere this day would receive Jesus as their Savior.

Speaker B:

And Lord, we give you honor, glory and praise for all that you accomplish.

Speaker B:

We ask that you lead, guide and direct this conversation today by your holy Spirit, in Jesus name.

Speaker B:

Amen.

Speaker B:

And amen.

Speaker B:

Praise the Lord.

Speaker B:

We are going to have a good time today.

Speaker B:

Hallelujah.

Speaker B:

You know, in this world of conflicting voices and opinions and doctrines, and one question, one question should guide every believer, and that is, what did Jesus say?

Speaker B:

Amen.

Speaker B:

And you know, this question is not just a slogan.

Speaker B:

It's the foundation of our faith and the ultimate standard for truth.

Speaker B:

Every single conversation we have about Jesus should revolve around him because it's an opportunity to teach, to correct, to.

Speaker B:

To demonstrate God's will in action.

Speaker B:

Praise God.

Speaker B:

And you know, whether we're addressing issues of faith or healing or forgiveness or even the end times, Jesus words, his actual statements that he shared in the Word in the Bible.

Speaker B:

It provides the absolute, clearest, most direct path to living a life that just honors God.

Speaker B:

Amen.

Speaker B:

If we ever find ourselves questioning, you know, how we should respond to life's challenges, if we want the true answer to any of the conflicts that we may think we have between denominations, or which faith is the real faith if we want to know the truth.

Speaker B:

And remember, Jesus himself said, the truth, you know, will set you free.

Speaker B:

Amen.

Speaker B:

Well, the answer is always going to be found in one place, referring back to what Jesus said.

Speaker B:

Amen.

Speaker B:

In fact, if you've been following this past few weeks, you should already know the answer to all those questions.

Speaker B:

What's the answer, Brother Bob?

Speaker B:

Well, simple.

Speaker B:

Just ask yourself, what did Jesus say?

Speaker B:

And then go out and find out.

Speaker B:

Praise God.

Speaker B:

His answer, his words are right here in the Bible.

Speaker B:

Amen.

Speaker B:

Again, I want to encourage you, you know, order a copy of Reverend Terry Christian's great book.

Speaker B:

Let me grab this right here and hold it up in front of the camera.

Speaker B:

Praise God.

Speaker B:

You know, this book.

Speaker B:

I don't normally encourage you, go out and buy something when I'm doing these teachings, but it is so important that you understand that the answer to many of the things plaguing us today, plaguing society today, can be found simply in the red letter words of Jesus.

Speaker B:

Amen.

Speaker B:

I'll put the link for you down in the show notes below.

Speaker B:

Praise God.

Speaker B:

And get this great book.

Speaker B:

It'll be in the show notes, the comments, whatever, whatever platform you're looking at.

Speaker B:

But you need to get this book.

Speaker B:

It has totally opened my eyes to see things really, that have been plaguing the body of Christ for centuries.

Speaker B:

And the truth of the matter is, Jesus himself gave us the answer to those problems.

Speaker B:

Amen.

Speaker B:

We don't need to go in any of the other books of the Bible to find the answers.

Speaker B:

You know, the other books of the Bible were written to help us understand one thing, and that was what Jesus taught, what he shared, what he did, what he said while he was here.

Speaker B:

Amen.

Speaker B:

Oh, don't shut me down.

Speaker B:

I'm preaching good already.

Speaker B:

Praise God.

Speaker B:

All right, well, that was straight from the Holy Spirit.

Speaker B:

Amen.

Speaker B:

Shout amen somebody somewhere.

Speaker B:

Glory to God.

Speaker B:

I know I'm gonna go along today.

Speaker B:

I just know it.

Speaker B:

I. I planned us out there and the Holy Spirit showed me.

Speaker B:

Now, you ain't gonna fit all this in today.

Speaker B:

Praise God.

Speaker B:

Because I really.

Speaker B:

I'm just really starting my introduction about what I want to talk about.

Speaker B:

Glory to God.

Speaker B:

So, well, I guess I'll just announce this right now.

Speaker B:

And that is.

Speaker B:

It's going to be more than one episode today.

Speaker B:

Okay.

Speaker B:

Or not today, but in this teaching.

Speaker B:

Amen.

Speaker B:

And you know, Pastor Bob, if the Lord leads, I may end up harping on these topics for a few weeks.

Speaker B:

So just check if you're watching this on the recording or listening to it later on the recordings.

Speaker B:

You know, just see how many episodes this thing turns out to be.

Speaker B:

All right.

Speaker B:

Praise God.

Speaker B:

Lord, help me at least get started here today.

Speaker B:

Praise God.

Speaker B:

Anyway, today we're going to begin to explore the profound conversations Jesus had with ordinary people, people just like you and Me conversations that reveal divine truths.

Speaker B:

Conversations that, that exposed human frailty.

Speaker B:

Conversations that provided basically a roadmap for victorious living not in the sweet by and by, but in a rotten here and now.

Speaker B:

Amen.

Speaker B:

Praise God.

Speaker B:

From from his compassionate responses to the sick and the needy, to his firm rebukes of hypocrisy and self righteousness, Jesus consistently, consistently he pointed people in God's heart and God's will for humanity.

Speaker B:

Each and every single conversation he had was rooted in Scripture.

Speaker B:

Amen.

Speaker B:

And it just confirms that Jesus did not just come to abolish the law, but to fulfill the law.

Speaker B:

Right?

Speaker B:

Matthew 5:17.

Speaker B:

That means that everything he said should serve as sort of our divine compass, if you will.

Speaker B:

In this study, I want to examine critical topics such as love, faith, humility, servanthood, and especially preparedness for his return.

Speaker B:

In doing this, we have to consistently ask ourselves some very important questions such as, are our actions and beliefs aligned with what Jesus taught?

Speaker B:

Are we interpreting Scripture in light of his teachings?

Speaker B:

Are we adding our own ideas and cultural biases trying to make it seem that's what Jesus said?

Speaker B:

Folks, it is absolutely imperative that we allow Jesus own words to always hear me now.

Speaker B:

Always take precedence over any traditions, over any personal opinions and even well meaning interpretations by other people.

Speaker B:

Yep, I know.

Speaker B:

I just stepped all over some misguided, unfounded, doctrinal, denominational, misguided, unscriptural misinterpretations of the Bible.

Speaker B:

Yep, I'm jumping all up and down on those spiritual toes right now.

Speaker B:

Amen.

Speaker B:

Don't look at me in that tone of voice through that camera.

Speaker B:

I see you and hear you right there.

Speaker B:

Praise God.

Speaker B:

You know, when conflicts arise in our churches between denominations, even on our personal lives, the solution is simply what did Jesus say?

Speaker B:

Just go to the words of Jesus.

Speaker B:

His teachings hold all the answers to resolve all disputes.

Speaker B:

His teachings serve as the guide to restore relationships.

Speaker B:

If you're in the ministry in any form or fashion, you should not be listening to the directives of man.

Speaker B:

You should not even care what other people think about what you're teaching.

Speaker B:

You are serving the Lord Jesus Himself.

Speaker B:

And if you're serving the Lord, you shouldn't care what other people think.

Speaker B:

Period.

Speaker B:

You should only care about what Jesus thinks.

Speaker B:

And he said it.

Speaker B:

If he said it, he meant it.

Speaker B:

Amen.

Speaker B:

If he meant it, that means he meant it for you and, and me and everyone else.

Speaker B:

Amen.

Speaker B:

I've had some pastors just get mad at me because I. I take a stand of faith concerning healing or whatever.

Speaker B:

Well, you just can't get people's hopes up like that.

Speaker B:

Brother Bob.

Speaker B:

What?

Speaker B:

Let me get this straight.

Speaker B:

In your church, you get people's hopes down?

Speaker B:

I can't remember one example in the Bible when someone came to Jesus and ask for healing or anything for that matter.

Speaker B:

And his reply was, well, wow, okay.

Speaker B:

You know, we put that on you for a reason and you're, you're just not worthy of healing.

Speaker B:

So just deal with it.

Speaker B:

And if you die, hey, you die and, and you'll be better off anyway, right?

Speaker B:

So come and follow me.

Speaker B:

Now, can you think of one example where he said that?

Speaker B:

No, what?

Speaker B:

What was where?

Speaker B:

Or maybe where his response was wow.

Speaker B:

Oh, wow.

Speaker B:

Okay, man.

Speaker B:

Yeah, that's a tough one.

Speaker B:

You know, me and our heavenly Father, we never planned for that situation.

Speaker B:

Whoa, dude, you're screwed.

Speaker B:

No, he never said that.

Speaker B:

Amen.

Speaker B:

Well, brother Bob, you aren't Jesus.

Speaker B:

You don't have any power to heal people and such.

Speaker B:

You don't even know what God's will is in those situations.

Speaker B:

Brother Bob, you my friend first.

Speaker B:

You're 100% correct.

Speaker B:

I do not have any power at all to heal anyone.

Speaker B:

But I know who does.

Speaker B:

Jesus.

Speaker B:

And we do know his will in those situations because he said, you, you shall lay hands on the sick and they shall recover.

Speaker B:

He said, where two or more come together in my name and agree, I'll hear them.

Speaker B:

If he said, you know, whatever you ask my name, our Father will do.

Speaker B:

And there's all kinds of scriptures like that.

Speaker B:

And if he said that and you don't believe it enough to act on it, you don't believe it works today.

Speaker B:

If you don't believe it will work for you if you try to tell me and others that the healing's not for today.

Speaker B:

Well, either one, you're a liar, or two, Jesus is a liar and I pick you.

Speaker B:

Praise God.

Speaker B:

I know that probably offends some of your religiously minded people out there, but I have personally, personally prayed for people's healings and seen the miracles happen several times in my own personal and extended family, not even counting church services, hospital visits, large scale meetings and convention centers that I've been involved with over the years.

Speaker B:

I mean, you are way too late to the ball game to try and convince me prayer does not work.

Speaker B:

Amen.

Speaker B:

And that's just one example of how people are too religious for their own britches.

Speaker B:

Amen.

Speaker B:

They're too heavenly minded that they, you are of no earthly, earthly good at all.

Speaker B:

Praise God.

Speaker B:

I don't know how we got off on this sidetrack.

Speaker B:

Lord God.

Speaker B:

Oh, I don't know how I got on that tangent, but I'm here to tell you right now, I just follow the leading of the Holy Spirit, and somebody out there somewhere right now needed to hear that.

Speaker B:

And if that brought a spirit of condemnation on you, if it brought a spirit of anger upon you, if it brought a spirit of disagreement on you, if it violated your religious traditions or your denominational doctrines or whatever, I got one word for you, Jesus.

Speaker B:

Now, let me rephrase that.

Speaker B:

I got four words for you.

Speaker B:

What did Jesus say?

Speaker B:

Go look it up.

Speaker B:

His word is what?

Speaker B:

Truth.

Speaker B:

Amen.

Speaker B:

I praise God.

Speaker B:

Yes, Lord.

Speaker B:

Yes, yes, yes, yes, yes.

Speaker B:

Holy Spirit is telling me I've made my point.

Speaker B:

I move on.

Speaker B:

Praise God.

Speaker B:

Oh, praise you, Jesus.

Speaker B:

Where was I?

Speaker B:

Oh, yeah, yeah.

Speaker B:

Thank you, Holy Spirit.

Speaker B:

Let me put it like this.

Speaker B:

Who called you into the ministry?

Speaker B:

That's where we left off at.

Speaker B:

I remember my calling.

Speaker B:

I remember when I sensed the Lord was calling me into the ministry.

Speaker B:

Matter of fact, today, the day of this recording, is my spiritual birthday.

Speaker B:

,:

Speaker B:

Hey, man, I was there.

Speaker B:

I know it.

Speaker B:

I'm not going to go into the details of it.

Speaker B:

I'll probably make a recording later to celebrate my birthday and put it out there.

Speaker B:

But I just want you to know, today is my spiritual birthday.

Speaker B:

And eight months later, Jesus called me into the ministry.

Speaker B:

Amen.

Speaker B:

But when I was born again, that was a miracle.

Speaker B:

It really was.

Speaker B:

When he called me into the ministry, I was like, there is no way.

Speaker B:

No way.

Speaker B:

Not after the lifestyle I led.

Speaker B:

But he wouldn't stop talking to me about it.

Speaker B:

So I made an appointment with my pastor to go talk to him.

Speaker B:

Right.

Speaker B:

That's what you're supposed to do, right?

Speaker B:

Well, that's what I did.

Speaker B:

Praise the Lord.

Speaker B:

And we went into his study, and I was talking with him at the time.

Speaker B:

I told him, you know, I think the Lord's calling me into the ministry.

Speaker B:

And notice what I said there.

Speaker B:

I think first of all.

Speaker B:

And then the Lord is calling me into the ministry.

Speaker B:

And every time I discuss this conversation, I always give credit to Pastor hall at the time for what he did next.

Speaker B:

Because I thought he was going to rejoice and pray with me and give me some materials to study and tell me what my next steps were.

Speaker B:

Nope.

Speaker B:

He looked up at me and says, you think so?

Speaker B:

I said, yeah, I think so.

Speaker B:

And he got up to leave, patted me on the shoulder, and Said, come back when you know, and left.

Speaker B:

He just left me sitting there.

Speaker B:

What?

Speaker B:

But, you know, he was right.

Speaker B:

Because a calling is between you and the Lord, and it was between the Lord and me.

Speaker B:

It's the same with you.

Speaker B:

If you're in the ministry right now, let me ask you, who called you?

Speaker B:

I pray the answer to Jesus.

Speaker B:

Amen.

Speaker B:

And if he called you, don't you think he will teach you?

Speaker B:

Don't you think he'll want to make sure that you're not confused about anything?

Speaker B:

How's he going to do that?

Speaker B:

Oh, I'm so glad you asked.

Speaker B:

Praise God.

Speaker B:

Because, you see, Jesus taught His disciples.

Speaker B:

Now think about this.

Speaker B:

He knew he only had a short time to teach them everything they were going to need to be successful.

Speaker B:

He not only had to teach them.

Speaker B:

Okay?

Speaker B:

Yeah, okay.

Speaker B:

Holy Spirit.

Speaker B:

Yeah.

Speaker B:

Let me put it like this.

Speaker B:

When I was a drill sergeant in the army, teaching new recruits how to be successful soldiers, giving them the basics, transforming them from ignorant civilians who couldn't even march together, and in just eight short weeks, turn them into functioning members of a military brotherhood.

Speaker B:

How did we do that?

Speaker B:

Well, first we explain things to them.

Speaker B:

Then we demonstrate things to them.

Speaker B:

Then we have them do these things, and we supervise and guide them in it.

Speaker B:

Then we send them out to do them on their own and come back and tell us how it went, what they thought, what problems they encountered, what did they have to do to handle those problems and things like, isn't that what Jesus did with his disciples?

Speaker B:

It was sort of a basic training environment.

Speaker B:

Amen.

Speaker B:

He did not send them to the Pharisees for their classes, did he?

Speaker B:

He didn't send them into the heat of battle without training them first, did He?

Speaker B:

Don't you think Jesus would want to do the same thing for us in ministry today?

Speaker B:

Don't you think he should be the one who's directing our ministries?

Speaker B:

Amen.

Speaker B:

If Jesus said it, we can be sure it's the right course of action.

Speaker B:

There's no need for speculation, no need for doubt.

Speaker B:

When we have his clear instructions, if we do what he said and we do it as he said, then we should be receiving what?

Speaker B:

The exact same results he achieved and that he said we could have.

Speaker B:

Amen.

Speaker B:

Don't shut me down.

Speaker B:

I'm preaching.

Speaker B:

Good.

Speaker B:

Praise God.

Speaker B:

All right.

Speaker B:

Now that we've established the fact that if we were with the disciples when Jesus was on this earth, his training would have been all we need to accomplish all that he wanted us to accomplish.

Speaker B:

Right.

Speaker B:

All right.

Speaker B:

Well, what makes living in this day and time any different?

Speaker B:

Well, brother Bob, Jesus isn't with us to teach us these things.

Speaker B:

Oh, au contraire, my friend.

Speaker B:

He is with us right here in his word.

Speaker B:

Amen.

Speaker B:

Praise the Lord.

Speaker B:

Matter of fact, let's turn over there.

Speaker B:

John, chapter one.

Speaker B:

Turn with me to John, chapter one.

Speaker B:

Well, I want your eyes to look at this.

Speaker B:

Praise the lord.

Speaker B:

John, chapter one.

Speaker B:

We're gonna read verses one through five and then drop down to verse 14.

Speaker B:

In the beginning was the Word, and the Word was with God.

Speaker B:

The Word was God.

Speaker B:

The same was in the beginning with God.

Speaker B:

All things were created by Him.

Speaker B:

Without him, there was not anything made that was made.

Speaker B:

Now drop down to verse 14.

Speaker B:

And the word was made flesh and dwelt among us, and we beheld his glory.

Speaker B:

The glory is the only begotten of the Father, full of grace and truth.

Speaker B:

So if you want to see Jesus, you have to go to the Word.

Speaker B:

If you want to see what Jesus would do in certain situations, you have to go to the Word.

Speaker B:

If you want to hear what Jesus thinks on certain topics, what.

Speaker B:

You have to go to the Word.

Speaker B:

All right, now, our Bible here.

Speaker B:

I'm going back to this basic training and mentality right now.

Speaker B:

I can tell it, I sense it.

Speaker B:

Praise God.

Speaker B:

Where is that?

Speaker B:

Here, this is.

Speaker B:

This is Pastor Bob today, right here.

Speaker B:

All right, drill sergeant mode.

Speaker B:

Our Bible is made up of two parts, the Old Testament and the New Testament.

Speaker B:

Did you write that down?

Speaker B:

It's important that you understand that.

Speaker B:

Now, I. I told you, I'm back here in basic training mode.

Speaker B:

Right?

Speaker B:

So you understand that the Old Testament was written for the Jews, right?

Speaker B:

Right.

Speaker B:

Go read it for yourself.

Speaker B:

I'm not.

Speaker B:

I'm not discounting the Old Testament.

Speaker B:

Not at all.

Speaker B:

But the point I need you to see is this.

Speaker B:

If the Old Testament was all we needed, Jesus would not have needed to come here, live here, die here.

Speaker B:

Think about it.

Speaker B:

He did need to do that.

Speaker B:

So what does that tell us?

Speaker B:

The Old Testament did not have all the answers, period.

Speaker B:

Well, Brother Bob, what about the New Testament?

Speaker B:

Well, I'm so glad you asked.

Speaker B:

Praise God.

Speaker B:

Let's look at this from a perspective of evidence.

Speaker B:

Okay?

Speaker B:

I went over this in detail a few weeks back when I presented all of this as.

Speaker B:

Remember the part of pretend of a grand jury presentation.

Speaker B:

So I'm not going to lay all these facts out all over again, all right?

Speaker B:

But I want you to look at this from this perspective.

Speaker B:

In court testimony, only those who have firsthand information are allowed to testify.

Speaker B:

I can't go into court and testify as a Witness.

Speaker B:

Because I read something in the newspaper.

Speaker B:

Maybe something that a family member of someone whose neighbor said they saw something happen.

Speaker B:

Okay?

Speaker B:

They can put that stuff in the newspaper.

Speaker B:

Not allowed in court.

Speaker B:

As a cop, if I tried to bring charges against someone based on that kind of testimony, I'd have been laughed out of court.

Speaker B:

Amen.

Speaker B:

No, Only firsthand eyewitness testimony can be entered into evidence.

Speaker B:

That's it.

Speaker B:

Now, that means only the eyewitnesses should be brought in to testify.

Speaker B:

Now, who were the real eyewitnesses of what Jesus said, what he did, what he taught his disciples.

Speaker B:

Personal disciples.

Speaker B:

Right.

Speaker B:

That means Peter, Matthew and John.

Speaker B:

Right?

Speaker B:

All of the disciples were there.

Speaker B:

But we're talking here.

Speaker B:

Books of the Bible.

Speaker B:

Peter, Matthew and John in the Gospels.

Speaker B:

Well, Brother Bob, wait a minute.

Speaker B:

Now we have Mark and Luke in the Bible, too.

Speaker B:

Yeah, you do?

Speaker B:

Amen.

Speaker B:

But let me go back to my example of admissible court testimony.

Speaker B:

If it can be documented what a third person was told, what was said by an eyewitness to the facts in the conversation, that can be entered into evidence, but only in very special cases.

Speaker B:

What are those special cases?

Speaker B:

Well, one example would be an expert witness.

Speaker B:

For example, as a police officer, I conducted interviews with witnesses, and I could tell the court what this person told me because I was an expert witness.

Speaker B:

Another example would be a criminologist, like a physician, autopsy doctor, like that.

Speaker B:

But in order to be admissible, the information they would provide had to be backed up by data that would establish the testimony already received was true.

Speaker B:

Here's an example.

Speaker B:

Like DNA left on the clothing that had been recovered from the suspect.

Speaker B:

Okay?

Speaker B:

The lab technician did not witness the blood being transferred to the clothing.

Speaker B:

They did not witness the person wearing the clothing?

Speaker B:

No.

Speaker B:

In this instance, the police identified the suspect through interviewing eyewitnesses, we'll say, obtained a search warrant and then finding the evidence in the possession of the accused.

Speaker B:

That's what the testimony would be by the police officer.

Speaker B:

It's called a chain of custody.

Speaker B:

Okay.

Speaker B:

Then the experts would come in.

Speaker B:

Back up just a hair here.

Speaker B:

First you have the eyewitness said, I seen that guy stab that person.

Speaker B:

Okay?

Speaker B:

Then the police officer comes in and says, I interviewed this guy.

Speaker B:

And then this guy seen him run away.

Speaker B:

This guy seen him getting gas and had blood all over his hands.

Speaker B:

And then we tracked down the car because the surveillance camera on the store where he was getting gas, we were able to track the license plate.

Speaker B:

Got a search warrant for the house, went in, found the clothing in the suspect's bedroom.

Speaker B:

Okay?

Speaker B:

So that's the expert.

Speaker B:

How went from eyewitnesses to firsthand expert testimony from the police.

Speaker B:

And now the DNA specialist comes in and says the DNA on the clothing maxes matches the DNA of the victim.

Speaker B:

All right.

Speaker B:

So that's how all that can be entered into court.

Speaker B:

The Gospels of Mark and Luke were the.

Speaker B:

Let's call them, the investigators who interviewed actual eyewitnesses.

Speaker B:

Right.

Speaker B:

Mark traveled with Paul.

Speaker B:

Luke was an.

Speaker B:

Paul was an expert in the Old Testament.

Speaker B:

He could have.

Speaker B:

He could.

Speaker B:

Paul could establish the factual links between what the Old Testament said the Messiah would do and link it up with the testimony of those that were with Jesus who testified to what Jesus said and did.

Speaker B:

Amen.

Speaker B:

Now, I'm sure there were some interactions with the disciples and the apostles too.

Speaker B:

Okay, Amen.

Speaker B:

But let's take Dr. Luke for a minute.

Speaker B:

He was ministering to and with Paul.

Speaker B:

Matter of fact, while Paul was in prison, they were waiting for him to be released.

Speaker B:

So Luke was hanging out probably with the disciples, maybe Mary as well.

Speaker B:

And he made a decision.

Speaker B:

He's going to become an investigative reporter.

Speaker B:

Amen.

Speaker B:

That's basically what he was.

Speaker B:

He started interviewing witnesses who had personally been taught by Jesus or come in close contact with Jesus.

Speaker B:

In fact, let's turn over to Luke, chapter one.

Speaker B:

I want you to see this.

Speaker B:

Luke, chapter one.

Speaker B:

Hallelujah.

Speaker B:

I'm having fun today.

Speaker B:

I don't know if you are, but I am.

Speaker B:

Praise God.

Speaker B:

Let's read this.

Speaker B:

For as much as many have taken in hand to set forth in order a declaration of those things which are most surely believed among us even as they deliver them to us, which from the beginning were what eyewitnesses and ministers of the Word.

Speaker B:

In other words, ain't L A seen it?

Speaker B:

They went out and did it.

Speaker B:

Amen.

Speaker B:

It seemed good to me also having had a perfect understanding of all things.

Speaker B:

All things from the very first.

Speaker B:

To write on to you.

Speaker B:

Most excellent.

Speaker B:

To write unto you in order.

Speaker B:

Most excellent, Theophilus, that you might know the certainty of those things wherein you have been instructed.

Speaker B:

Amen.

Speaker B:

Praise God.

Speaker B:

So he was.

Speaker B:

Luke wasn't there.

Speaker B:

Where did he get this perfect understanding of what happened from the very beginning.

Speaker B:

He got it from eyewitnesses.

Speaker B:

Amen again.

Speaker B:

Go back here now to verse three.

Speaker B:

Because having had a perfect understanding of all these things from the very first, he said it seemed right for him to write to you.

Speaker B:

To you in order he wrote this letter, Theophilus.

Speaker B:

But we can read it like this.

Speaker B:

To write to you so that you may know the certainty of things Wherein you have been instructed.

Speaker B:

Amen.

Speaker B:

Praise God.

Speaker B:

So we have Matthew, John as eyewitnesses.

Speaker B:

We have Luke acting in the role of the investigator and interviewing all the witnesses he could find.

Speaker B:

Mary and the others, probably, probably even Bartimaeus and the lepers and all that.

Speaker B:

So he did that so we can be certain of the facts.

Speaker B:

Well, why isn't Paul included in the four Gospels?

Speaker B:

Then why was he added to the back of the book?

Speaker B:

I don't know.

Speaker B:

Right, but why wasn't some of the other good disciples writings added the Gospel?

Speaker B:

We know that other disciples wrote things down.

Speaker B:

Why weren't they included in the Gospels?

Speaker B:

Well, probably because one, they were repeating the same stories and they took the best writers because, you know, some people just can't write.

Speaker B:

Well, we'll put it like that, all right?

Speaker B:

They can get their point across.

Speaker B:

But when you look at someone who writes really well compared to someone who has a hard time explaining things, we'll put it like that.

Speaker B:

You can tell the difference.

Speaker B:

Maybe that's why they're talking about the same event.

Speaker B:

They're talking about the same eyewitness, they're talking about the same testimony, but they decided to just take the better writings and put it in here.

Speaker B:

I.

Speaker B:

That's just a theory.

Speaker B:

I can't prove it.

Speaker B:

That's.

Speaker B:

It makes sense.

Speaker B:

Right, but that's not the purpose of the discussion today.

Speaker B:

Amen.

Speaker B:

Let me just say this probably, and I'm going to say probably, and it's something to do also with the Catholic Church because they believe the Pope is, you know, I don't know this the correct terminology or not, but the incarnate Peter or something like that.

Speaker B:

Okay.

Speaker B:

And since the Catholic Church is the ones who orchestrated the assembly of the Bible, they were the ones who decided what got in and where and what it all started with.

Speaker B:

I believe it was Pope Damascus about 400 AD or something started all this stuff.

Speaker B:

Anyway, I know one of the scriptures they stand on for the authority of the Pope was taken out of context from Matthew 16, verses 18 to 19, where Jesus said, I will give you the keys of the kingdom of heaven, and whatever you bind on earth, be bound in heaven.

Speaker B:

Whatever you loose on earth, be loosed in heaven.

Speaker B:

All right, well, I, I don't have time to do a deep dive on this right now.

Speaker B:

Let me just say it this way.

Speaker B:

When Peter identified Jesus as the.

Speaker B:

You are the Messiah, the son of the living God, Jesus turned around, said, blessed are you, Simon of Jonah, for this was not revealed to you by flesh and blood, but by my Father in heaven.

Speaker B:

And I'm telling you now, you are, Peter.

Speaker B:

In other words, the rock.

Speaker B:

And I'll build my church on this rock.

Speaker B:

The gates of hell will not overcome it.

Speaker B:

I will give you the keys of the kingdom of heaven.

Speaker B:

So whatever you bind on earth is bound in heaven.

Speaker B:

Whatever you loose on earth is loose in heaven.

Speaker B:

So that was not to build the Catholic church, folks.

Speaker B:

It was Jesus stating that the revelation of who he really was was not something other people told Peter.

Speaker B:

It was something that was revealed to him by the Holy Spirit, Peter.

Speaker B:

And that this kind of revelation would make someone like a rock.

Speaker B:

And on that kind of rock of revelation is what it will take to build the church.

Speaker B:

And as Jesus wanted to discuss forgiveness, it was not talking about man having the power to confer life into heaven or condemnation to hell.

Speaker B:

He was talking about personal forgiveness.

Speaker B:

Again, look at it like this.

Speaker B:

Let's say you and your wife are invited to a very special event.

Speaker B:

So say you're going to the inaugural ball or something like that.

Speaker B:

She goes out, buys a nice dress, a gown, and it's beautiful.

Speaker B:

She's gonna wear it to this ball.

Speaker B:

And she shows up at the event, and another woman from church is there, and they wear the exact same dress.

Speaker B:

And when they meet, the other person makes light of it and laughs, you know, and your wife gets offended.

Speaker B:

How could she?

Speaker B:

And then laugh at me.

Speaker B:

And she is hot and holds that grudge for years.

Speaker B:

Won't talk to the same.

Speaker B:

Won't talk to that woman ever again.

Speaker B:

Sit on opposite sides of the church.

Speaker B:

You know what I'm talking about?

Speaker B:

Until some point, at some point in time, one day, maybe, your wife, you know, Caesar, and.

Speaker B:

And the situation just won't allow her to escape.

Speaker B:

So they have to end up talking to each other.

Speaker B:

And she seems to be civil, you know, it seems to be civil to one another.

Speaker B:

And then the lady says, why?

Speaker B:

You know, we haven't hung out for a couple years.

Speaker B:

Why?

Speaker B:

Why?

Speaker B:

Why'd you stop talking to me?

Speaker B:

Your wife tells her, well, I want to be friends, so I'll just tell you, you know, you wore that same dress and then laughed at me because we had it on.

Speaker B:

And I just want you to know I forgive you.

Speaker B:

Wait a minute.

Speaker B:

You forgive me?

Speaker B:

Yeah, I forgive you for wearing that same dress that night that we had that I had already wore.

Speaker B:

And the lady says, what event are you talking about?

Speaker B:

Say she didn't even remember.

Speaker B:

You see, the only person holding a grudge would have been your wife.

Speaker B:

So, folks, when we forgive others is not when they are released from their sins so they can go to heaven.

Speaker B:

No, it's when we release them from affecting our lives.

Speaker B:

They may have been forgiven by God years ago.

Speaker B:

If there was something that, you know, I'm sorry I laughed or something, whatever the case may be.

Speaker B:

But if you're holding on to it, it's only affecting you, not them.

Speaker B:

Because in many cases, they don't even remember what it was they did to offend you.

Speaker B:

Now, there are situations that counter that.

Speaker B:

I'm not going to go into that, but I just use that as an example.

Speaker B:

So when Jesus is sharing here, when you forgive them of their sins, you.

Speaker B:

You are loosed from that bondage, not them.

Speaker B:

You're loosed from it.

Speaker B:

And we can also look at the power of agreement and prayer and other things.

Speaker B:

Right.

Speaker B:

But that.

Speaker B:

That's going beyond what I wanted to continue talking about here today.

Speaker B:

Amen.

Speaker B:

So we'll just move on.

Speaker B:

Hallelujah.

Speaker B:

Praise glory.

Speaker B:

So what?

Speaker B:

See how much time we got left there?

Speaker B:

All right, what.

Speaker B:

How can I say this?

Speaker B:

That could be why Peter was included anyway.

Speaker B:

And that's where we left off at.

Speaker B:

Why they took Peter's gospel and put it in the back of the book.

Speaker B:

Because, you know, the desire of the Catholic Church and the Pope who supervised the assembly of the Bible, Pope Damascus, they wanted to try and subvertly give them authority for themselves and not just rely on the authority of Jesus.

Speaker B:

I'll just put it like that.

Speaker B:

Then Paul comes along and he has a personal encounter with Jesus as well.

Speaker B:

And his expertise is in the Old Testament.

Speaker B:

So let's think about his credentials for a minute.

Speaker B:

And some people say, they may say that we should disregard Paul since he wasn't a real disciple.

Speaker B:

Okay?

Speaker B:

But look at it from this turn to Acts, chapter 22.

Speaker B:

Acts, chapter 22.

Speaker B:

Hallelujah.

Speaker B:

I'm having fun.

Speaker B:

I really am.

Speaker B:

And verse three, this is Paul giving us his credentials.

Speaker B:

All right?

Speaker B:

Much as an expert witness in court is required to explain their credentials to the jury so the jury will understand that the things being presented are backed up by facts.

Speaker B:

That's why they are the experts he didn't witness.

Speaker B:

The experts didn't witness the crime being committed, but they can testify that the facts, scientifically and all that stuff back up what the testimony is of the witnesses of what's being testified to.

Speaker B:

And that's what Paul's doing here.

Speaker B:

He's testifying about Jesus fulfilling the law and being the son of God, the Messiah, as outlined throughout the Old Testament, which was written to who?

Speaker B:

The Jews?

Speaker B:

Okay.

Speaker B:

The One that's been prophesied about, the one that the Jews have been waiting for.

Speaker B:

So let's read Acts 22, verses 3 through 10.

Speaker B:

He says, I am verily a man which was born in Tarsus, a city of Cilicia, yet brought up in this city at the feet of Gamaliel, taught according to the perfect manner of the law of the fathers, was zealous towards God, as you all are this day.

Speaker B:

I persecuted this way to death, binding and delivering to prisons, both men and women, as also the high priest does bear me witness.

Speaker B:

And all the estate of the elders, from whom I received letters unto the brother, went to Damascus to bring them which were there bound to Jerusalem to be punished.

Speaker B:

And it came to pass that as I made my journey and was come near Damascus about noon, suddenly there shone from heaven a great light about me.

Speaker B:

And I fell to the ground and heard a voice say to me, saul, Saul, why are you persecuting me?

Speaker B:

I said, who are you, Lord?

Speaker B:

And he said to me, I am Jesus of Nazareth, whom you persecute us.

Speaker B:

They that were with me indeed saw the light and were afraid, but they did not hear the voice of him that spoke to me.

Speaker B:

I said, what should I do, Lord?

Speaker B:

And Lord said to me, arise, go to Damascus.

Speaker B:

And there it'll be told you of all things which you are appointed of me to do.

Speaker B:

Okay, so Paul had that personal encounter with Jesus, right?

Speaker B:

He said, who are you?

Speaker B:

He said, I'm Jesus of Nazareth, whom you're persecuting.

Speaker B:

And again, he heard him.

Speaker B:

The people with him didn't, but they did see the light.

Speaker B:

They heard him talking to someone, right?

Speaker B:

So Jesus said, now get up.

Speaker B:

Go to Damascus.

Speaker B:

He'll be told there what to do.

Speaker B:

So here, Paul has established his credibility as an expert witness about what the Old Testament has to say about Jesus.

Speaker B:

He establishes credibility, giving testimony to the validity of what the disciples had to say about Jesus.

Speaker B:

And he gives credibility to his ability to interpret the Old Testament scriptures, all in reference what Jesus did and what Jesus accomplished.

Speaker B:

Now, he was not an eyewitness to the things Jesus said.

Speaker B:

What did he testify to?

Speaker B:

I. I know I'm.

Speaker B:

I'm stepping on a whole lot of misguided, mistaught, misbelieving, mistaken people here.

Speaker B:

But he was not saying that his words carry the same authority as the words of Jesus.

Speaker B:

He never said that.

Speaker B:

Hello?

Speaker B:

Are you still there?

Speaker B:

You didn't disconnect and go away, did you?

Speaker B:

I know this teaching today is like fingernails on a chalkboard for many of these religiously minded people.

Speaker B:

Pastors, ministry leaders out there.

Speaker B:

I have one thing to say.

Speaker B:

Get over yourselves.

Speaker B:

Amen.

Speaker B:

Praise God.

Speaker B:

That's bold but true.

Speaker B:

You have to realize Paul is not an eyewitness to what Jesus said when he was on this earth.

Speaker B:

He's not.

Speaker B:

You do not see him trying to tell people Jesus said this and Jesus said that.

Speaker B:

He didn't do that.

Speaker B:

He never did.

Speaker B:

He could testify to what Jesus said to him.

Speaker B:

That's eyewitness testimony, which we just read.

Speaker B:

But his job was to testify as an expert witness, not an eyewitness.

Speaker B:

What does that mean for us today?

Speaker B:

What am I trying to harp on today?

Speaker B:

It means we can use things Paul said to back up the teachings of Jesus with a foundational basis from old test from looking at things from the Old Testament scriptures.

Speaker B:

But what Paul taught should not be taken as gospel.

Speaker B:

Ouch.

Speaker B:

I heard somebody say ouch right there.

Speaker B:

You.

Speaker B:

Yep.

Speaker B:

I jumped up and down on them spiritual toes again, didn't I?

Speaker B:

Praise God.

Speaker B:

But think about it for a minute.

Speaker B:

Jesus is the Word made flesh.

Speaker B:

He is God in the flesh.

Speaker B:

His disciples were eyewitnesses to everything he did, taught and said.

Speaker B:

Some of them documented these things as eyewitness statements.

Speaker B:

Matthew and John were the documents that were chosen to be included in the Bible.

Speaker B:

Who chose them?

Speaker B:

Men.

Speaker B:

Human men.

Speaker B:

Experts in spiritual studies, no doubt, but still men.

Speaker B:

They were not holier than you or me.

Speaker B:

Again, I know that.

Speaker B:

Just stepped all over some spiritual toes.

Speaker B:

But that's what Pastor Bob does.

Speaker B:

Amen.

Speaker B:

Get used to it.

Speaker B:

Get your attitude right, folks.

Speaker B:

Get your mind right, get your hearts right.

Speaker B:

Praise God.

Speaker B:

Why?

Speaker B:

Because they had to choose from among so many documents if they included everything that was written about Jesus while he was in a physical body in this earth, especially during those three plus years in ministry.

Speaker B:

You know how big this Bible would be?

Speaker B:

Well, I'll tell you.

Speaker B:

Turn to John, chapter 21.

Speaker B:

Amen.

Speaker B:

I'm going to show you how big this Bible would be.

Speaker B:

John, chapter 21, verse 25, right here.

Speaker B:

There are so many other things which I.

Speaker B:

Which Jesus did, which if they would be written down, every one.

Speaker B:

I suppose even the world itself could not contain the books that would be written.

Speaker B:

That's a lot of books.

Speaker B:

That's a lot of writing.

Speaker B:

That's a lot of things he did and said that we don't even know about.

Speaker B:

But what does it tell you?

Speaker B:

They had to choose which ones to include.

Speaker B:

Anyway, I think I have established this fact that the disciples were considered eyewitnesses to all the things Jesus said and did.

Speaker B:

Amen.

Speaker B:

So the investigators, they interviewed others.

Speaker B:

They wrote down their statements based upon interviewing eyewitness testimony.

Speaker B:

So the two primary ones whose written testimony of their investigations were included in, in the case files, which we call the four Gospels.

Speaker B:

That was Luke and Mark.

Speaker B:

Okay?

Speaker B:

Combined those statements, the eyewitnesses statements and the investigator statements make up what we call the four Gospels.

Speaker B:

Plainly what Jesus said and what Jesus did.

Speaker B:

Amen.

Speaker B:

Then Paul comes along as the technical specialist who's trained by the best academics in the world today.

Speaker B:

We'd say he was a Harvard grad or whatever.

Speaker B:

And just a side note on that, although Harvard, Yale and other Ivy League schools today may be considered bastions of liberal gibberish, they all started out as schools of ministry, teaching the word Amen.

Speaker B:

That was just a side note.

Speaker B:

It was only when some well intentioned, misguided liberal leaders came in, decided that we need to stop teaching the Bible, start teaching things that really matter in life today.

Speaker B:

Yeah.

Speaker B:

And as Paul Harvey used to say, now you know the rest of the story.

Speaker B:

Amen.

Speaker B:

Anyway, we can say the same thing about theological universities and such too.

Speaker B:

Yeah, I lumped you into the same basket with all the other satanic influence liberal trash out there.

Speaker B:

Instead of teaching, what did Jesus say they're teaching?

Speaker B:

Did Jesus really say that?

Speaker B:

That's two different things, right?

Speaker B:

In fact, who started that line of teaching anyway?

Speaker B:

Satan.

Speaker B:

Think about way back in the Garden of Eden, he asked Eve, did God really say that?

Speaker B:

All right, I digress.

Speaker B:

Again, we're almost out of time.

Speaker B:

We're working on it.

Speaker B:

Praise God.

Speaker B:

What was I talking about?

Speaker B:

Oh, yeah, yeah.

Speaker B:

Paul is the one who can verify that all of the testimony presented, as evidenced by the disciples, is backed up by Old Testament scriptures.

Speaker B:

That adds to the validity to all four of the Gospel accounts.

Speaker B:

Amen.

Speaker B:

So he says, not only did this, this eyewitness testimony talk about what Jesus did, it backs up what the Old Testament said Jesus would do.

Speaker B:

Put it like that.

Speaker B:

All right, that means.

Speaker B:

Well, now that I took so much time to bring this out, this means that what the four gospel writers presented as the red letter words of Jesus, the conversations of Jesus, the words of Jesus, these things is what we'll be discussing as we move forward in this study.

Speaker B:

Because they are all the facts.

Speaker B:

Facts will be presented in this case that will prove what Jesus said is all that really matters.

Speaker B:

Facts that will prove that what others say in areas of doctrine, in areas of worldly things, in areas they try to bring into discussions, discussions that really only result in disagreement and splits and controversy and false teachings, the Facts we will present are simply categorized basically into three areas.

Speaker B:

What did Jesus say?

Speaker B:

What did Jesus do?

Speaker B:

What did Jesus tell us to do?

Speaker B:

And to do that we'll study how Jesus interacted with people as well as his disciples.

Speaker B:

And that's why I'm calling this study we started here today, Conversations with Jesus.

Speaker B:

Amen.

Speaker B:

Which takes me way back to what I asked you in the beginning.

Speaker B:

It is absolutely imperative that we allow Jesus's words to always hear me now, always take precedence over tradition, over personal opinions and even well meaning interpretations by others.

Speaker B:

That means we need to focus on one thing, which is the red letter words of Jesus.

Speaker B:

That means no matter the issue, go to the words of Jesus for the answer.

Speaker B:

Praise God, I finally made it through our introduction today.

Speaker B:

Oh, thank you Jesus.

Speaker B:

Now as we dive into these powerful conversations, we have to commit to living by the principles of studying.

Speaker B:

What did Jesus say?

Speaker B:

If we do that, if we do what he did, say what he said, live by his example, we can walk confidently in his promises knowing that we are in the center of God's will.

Speaker B:

So we have to prepare our hearts to learn, to grow, to align ourselves fully with the life giving words of Jesus Christ himself.

Speaker B:

Amen.

Speaker B:

I urge you, get your hands on this great book written by Reverend Terry Christian.

Speaker B:

e School way back in the late:

Speaker B:

And I read a lot.

Speaker B:

I read probably 20 plus books a year, plus the Bible and concordances and all this other stuff getting ready each and every year.

Speaker B:

All right, I remember I've been in the ministry for, I say about four years, preaching, studying every single day, preaching in churches.

Speaker B:

I was being invited to speak at different churches, churches and stuff.

Speaker B:

And I thought I knew a lot.

Speaker B:

I mean, I knew I wasn't, you know, really 100% filled to the top, filled to the brim, but I thought I knew enough and I did.

Speaker B:

I mean, I could carry on a good conversation.

Speaker B:

I remember after about three weeks of Bible school, I came and told my wife, said one thing I just learned today, I just realized how much I didn't know.

Speaker B:

I thought I knew a lot for my own personal study time.

Speaker B:

But when I started having other people actually teach me, I realized what I didn't know.

Speaker B:

And I mean, I was like a sponge soaking all this stuff up.

Speaker B:

I loved it, I loved it, I loved it, I loved it.

Speaker B:

But, and that, that got this ministry going.

Speaker B:

It really did, you know, and I Said I started working with Dr. Bernard Johnson, who did.

Speaker B:

I was his concert coordinator, but I was also the one who taught the Word at just about every single concert he did.

Speaker B:

We did 48 concerts, 48 cities in 48 weeks.

Speaker B:

And each and every one, I was the one who delivered the message.

Speaker B:

Well, not everyone.

Speaker B:

There was some where he had special guests from that area give it.

Speaker B:

I'd say out of the 48 I did probably 35 of them put it like that.

Speaker B:

And, you know, so I preached in convention centers, I laid hands on people.

Speaker B:

I seen them healed.

Speaker B:

You know, we.

Speaker B:

This ministry started there.

Speaker B:

And I've studied, continue, studied all the time up to now.

Speaker B:

But I'm telling you, folks, this book open my eyes to just how powerful the red letter words really are.

Speaker B:

Jesus has the answer to everything.

Speaker B:

What if I can't find it in the Bible, brother?

Speaker B:

Ask.

Speaker B:

Ask him.

Speaker B:

Praise God that all the other things.

Speaker B:

What did I just.

Speaker B:

You want me to go back and start over again?

Speaker B:

I can do that.

Speaker B:

I won't do that.

Speaker B:

We don't have time to do that.

Speaker B:

What'd I just say?

Speaker B:

That the Gospels are the eyewitness statements.

Speaker B:

The rest of the New Testament is made up of expert witnesses being called in to testify or given the interviews, you know, of others that had been eyewitness accounts.

Speaker B:

Okay.

Speaker B:

But it's all combined, basically centered around the red letter words of Jesus.

Speaker B:

So you gotta start there.

Speaker B:

And if you want confirmation on things like that or where it comes from, then you can go read the rest.

Speaker B:

But if, you know, I really don't want to go down that path.

Speaker B:

Lord.

Speaker B:

There had been more division among interpreting the Gospels or the Bible as a whole.

Speaker B:

That causes church splits, denominational conflicts and all that.

Speaker B:

But if you go to the red letter words of Jesus, just let him tell you what he thinks.

Speaker B:

All these problems would go away.

Speaker B:

The only way they don't go away is when you decide, well, I've been taught that.

Speaker B:

Well, maybe you were taught that was wrong.

Speaker B:

Amen.

Speaker B:

Folks, I'm.

Speaker B:

I'm speaking to somebody right here.

Speaker B:

Jesus is perfect in every way.

Speaker B:

He fulfilled everything.

Speaker B:

He was there in the beginning with God.

Speaker B:

We already established that Jesus is the word made flesh.

Speaker B:

Well, we can't have him in the flesh.

Speaker B:

We have him in his spirit, if you're born again.

Speaker B:

But we can also have his testimony what he said about certain subjects.

Speaker B:

You want to know about adultery, See what he said about it.

Speaker B:

You want to know about stealing, see what he said about it.

Speaker B:

Want to know what about?

Speaker B:

About what faith is.

Speaker B:

See what he said about it.

Speaker B:

He didn't mince words.

Speaker B:

Amen.

Speaker B:

Oh, praise God.

Speaker B:

I could go on on this.

Speaker B:

I'll put the link for you to order your copy of this great book down the show notes below.

Speaker B:

Because I've also made a major decision to partner with Reverend Terry to help him to get the word out about this book into all the earth.

Speaker B:

And I would like to invite you, my friend, to partner with us in this effort to reach the world with this book.

Speaker B:

Okay?

Speaker B:

This book is simply the red letter words of Jesus.

Speaker B:

Amen.

Speaker B:

No commentary.

Speaker B:

It's just what Jesus had to say broken down to different areas, okay?

Speaker B:

It's the answer to this world's problems.

Speaker B:

It really is.

Speaker B:

Amen.

Speaker B:

And I'm so impressed with it that I want to share it with you.

Speaker B:

And I'm partnering with Reverend Terry to help get the word out about this.

Speaker B:

So we've set up a type of go fund, type of program right now that you can be a part of, especially if you're looking for a way to invest in the gospel and spreading it around the world.

Speaker B:

Go check out the link.

Speaker B:

It'll be down in the show notes or the comments section down below.

Speaker B:

Because my time's bowed up for today, right?

Speaker B:

But I do want to take a moment and ask if you are needing Jesus, you needed to make Jesus the Lord of your life right?

Speaker B:

Now maybe you're the one who's never done that, and something we said here today has allowed the Holy Spirit to prompt you to understand that.

Speaker B:

Or maybe you've been born again.

Speaker B:

But you realize, you know, you've let a lot of denominational differences and doctrinal differences cloud your judgment and you want to get right with the Lord concerning these things.

Speaker B:

I want to pray with you right now.

Speaker B:

Amen.

Speaker B:

Just pray with me, Father, in Jesus name, I thank you for loving me so much that you gave Jesus for me.

Speaker B:

And Lord, I thank you that you love me so much that you died in my place so I wouldn't have to.

Speaker B:

And now I praise God that he raised you from the dead.

Speaker B:

And because he raised you from the dead, I can be raised from the dead as well.

Speaker B:

Lord Jesus, come into my heart, created me this new man, one that loves you, one that loves our Father.

Speaker B:

And now that I'm born again in spirit, the old man has died and I am raised with you.

Speaker B:

Oh, thank you, Jesus, for this new spirit, man.

Speaker B:

Praise you, Jesus, for all that you do for me.

Speaker B:

Lord, help me to study your word.

Speaker B:

Teach me like you taught the disciples.

Speaker B:

Let me get this book, Lord, into my hands quickly so I can study just the red letter words, just what you have to say about life.

Speaker B:

Oh, praise you Jesus, for having Reverend Terry Christian compose this book.

Speaker B:

He didn't write it.

Speaker B:

You wrote it.

Speaker B:

He just composed it.

Speaker B:

Hallelujah.

Speaker B:

The red letter words of Jesus.

Speaker B:

Let me start there.

Speaker B:

And I praise you for it in Jesus name.

Speaker B:

Hallelujah.

Speaker B:

Praise the Lord, folks.

Speaker B:

Now I'm going to put this up here, I hope.

Speaker B:

Let's see if I can do that here real quick before we close out.

Speaker B:

There you go.

Speaker B:

That's what the book looks like.

Speaker B:

That's the book cover right there.

Speaker B:

What did Jesus say?

Speaker B:

And folks, you need to get that.

Speaker B:

I'm going to put the links to this down below in the show notes.

Speaker B:

Amen.

Speaker B:

Or in the comment section or wherever the case may be right now.

Speaker B:

Praise God.

Speaker B:

But we just did the introduction to this studying day.

Speaker B:

You can tell this is going to be a good one.

Speaker B:

Amen.

Speaker B:

It's gonna go a couple of weeks for sure.

Speaker B:

Amen.

Speaker B:

I know that and I'm looking forward to it.

Speaker B:

Robert Thibodeau

I am a 12 year Army veteran as both enlisted and as a commissioned Cavalry Officer.
I am now a retired law enforcement supervisor...

I had my own business for seven years before I entered law enforcement.

As a cop, I was injured on the job on May 12, 2007 and after several surgeries over a couple of years, forced to retire in 2011.

As I was looking down the road to “what am I going to do next?” I started what is now known as a podcast (I had no clue at the time).

Within six months of starting (what I called) “My online radio program” I was offered an opportunity to be on nationwide AM radio. I learned A LOT in one year of doing that!

I then started the online Christian radio platform "Evangelism Radio" in the fall of 2010. It has had listeners in 160+ nations and all 50 states. We host 50+ Christian broadcasters on a weekly basis. We have been operating 24/7 for almost 14 years now. We have been rated #1 in the world by Shoutcast. com on several occasions in our genre. We recently transferred ownership of Evangelism Radio to another ministry so I could concentrate full time on podcasting, preaching and writing.

In 2018, I started the Kingdom Cross Roads Podcast to conduct interviews with Christian influencers from all walks of life and to play their interviews on the radio station. (The KCR Podcast has its own time slot on Evangelism Radio)!
We now have over 1600 episodes and almost 1100 interviews (in just over 6 years).

Looking out at the future of online Christian media, I noticed there was no viable platforms that catered only to the Christian podcast market.

In 2023, we launched a networking platform called, "FaithCasters" which connects "Great Christian podcasters with Great Christian Guests!" This helps to promote the work you do through podcast interviews! Check it out at https://FaithCaster.org

We recently launched "FaithCaster Academy" which serves as a training hub for ALL of our trainings (podcast training / speaker training / interview training, etc.). Members receive access to ALL of our training programs for one low, monthly membership fee. Members also receive FREE access to ALL of the LIVE trainings I conduct (1 or 2 per month) - while non-members have to pay to access the live trainings.

Between my podcast training program, conducting podcast interviews, appearing on other podcasts as guests, speaking at conferences (in person and virtually) and the podcast networking platform, I guess you could say “I’m all in” when it comes to podcasting and online media!

My total focus is to do all we can to assist you to “Get The Word Out” about your mission, services, products, ministry, books, business, etc.
